Thanks Eyebo. I apreciate that.
I didn't see a 'Cancel' Button either so I guess it's not available yet.
I'll wait.

hiding is bad, keeping no offline mode only because of this is already a good reason to not have it.

No way.... if your online you are expected to play with your mates.... if your popular i.e ganjarider you get hounded hundreds of mail and requests..... not good when you want to just focus on map building

But if you want off-line mode gone forever, i hope your perfect internet connection dies a death and then you will realise the real reason we need off-line mode back

This is the main reason we need offline mode back. Its a pain in the ass to have it like now when we live in a country with poor infrastructure. In our area there is no landline phonelines, only network for mobilphones, which is what we use for our internet connection. Its on and of all the time. Its really frustrating then when our whole family's main hobby is to race trackmania, not to be able to start mania planet, just because the network is down....

For the same reason Nadeo should also stop making the updates mandatory. For us, it takes sometimes a whole day to download 50 mb, so we should be able to update during night time....

I can be wrong, but if this game is a multiplayer game, all build for community play and everything, maybe it´s not made for people with no internet.

and I can´t believe that your internet it´s worse than brazilian, come on. :roflol:

I think both should always be available.
Most people prefer to play online but...
I spend most of my time making tracks and replays and I don't need to be online for that.

Yes there are parts of the United Kingdom.... come to think of it there are parts of the world that still can not even receive traditional Telephone lines and though the government have pledged to make it so they still to date dont have the basic telephone package..... don't be so ignorant to that fact just because you have and have probably always had the internet
Some people, counties and countries and contents are just not that fortunate
Also all equipment is prone to failure and human error so nothing is indefinite

And to add..... not all owners of TM and SM actually want to or have ever played on-line but instead bought a copy because they simply wanted to make mods or write scripts...... because this is just what they love to do

I can actually feel Nesrally's pain..... i currently can not justify the payment of a Telephone Line rental thus my only feasible alternative it a Prepay USB Dongle costing half the price of a the standard Phone and broadband package
Unfortunately due to thing out of my control and my area losing a mobile antenna some years back and some no good busy bodies rejecting the erection of a new mast i actually live in what is considered to be a mobile signal black spot.
The fact that i have managed to boost my signal somewhat by a home made antenna/dish means my drop-outs and disconnections are not so often but bad weather and other such uncontrollable conditions mean i may lose connection for any amount of time (record being 6 days)
