Hand picking is complicated but provided the best results so far. It's not a sorting or a deep & careful selection to provide some vips some privileges. It much more simple than that: there is a need of experts in different fields and once we have some, it's good to start the beta. After, we expect people that are involved in Maniaplanet will be invited by players that are already in in a more precise way.

I know it's a tricky question, but when are you expecting the public release, Hylis ?

I think we will invite more players every two weeks in each step, and I expect to do it 3 times. It makes around 4 x 2 weeks. It would bring us to first half of May for the release.

I hope Lagoon reveal will follow shortly after, like a trailer in june and the release in september

Why would Lagoon not be in the MP4 update immediately ? Hylis ?

Probably because it's not ready yet.

How can Lagoon not be ready yet the game's already in Turbo for 6 months ... I don't know at which rythm they're working but if Lagoon won't be ready in 3 more months then they have big problems and should probably search for more employees

Turbo runs on a modified version of the Maniaplanet engine, so this has to be ported over.
