What? I said that TM2 should have been like TMT ever since the begining, united, that would make the community way more combined than it is now splitted between each envi, that was a complete idiotic decision whoever come up with, it ruined the player base.
I can't get anyone to join MP because everything is separated, and what do I think? Yes, TM Turbo is a fantastic decision to get players together and I am finally managing to get people to join, so I support TMT all the way.

I understand... and not necessarily disagreeing with that.
However, consider the alternative. If we had to wait for TM2 first release having Canyon, Valley and Stadium -- we would have waited another extra year or two. Players were already complaining back then, so I understand the initial decision to try it out one environment at a time.
The problem I see that split the community more than anything was first, the alpha/beta of ShootMania. But as that started to settle some, the die-hards that liked both started playing both again. But right before ShootMania's release, we get the big reveals of Stadium and Valley. I think that should have waited until after ShootMania's release, because many players were helping with the beta of ShootMania and were more focused there. Then all the sudden we split 2 more ways. And this brings us back to your point Filipe1020... Had they been all located in one app/pack/whatever, maybe there would be more unity? Timing was definitely an issue, but I can see Nadeo being torn as well... we players are never happy and always demanding more, and I think they try to give us stuff without making us wait too long. Did some of it backfire? Yes, obviously.
But honestly, the loyal players are still around and we still have fun. I just don't want to see the community thinned more than it already has been. I agree a unification effort would be awesome, but I'm still thinking ManiaPlanet is viable if we can get all the TrackManiacs to come into the TM2 title pack.
TM Turbo isn't our answer because it doesn't offer all the benefits that the current ManiaPlanet has... if Nadeo can find a way to do both, I'm all for that. Maybe that's what you're trying to convey, Filipe, and... if so... we are in agreement.

They could've been fixed the Splitted community simply by adding the next environments as a major update for a core Trackmania 2 game, that would fix a lot of issues in that regard.

That sounds great in theory, but we are forgetting about monetizing it. Would it have been DLC at that time?
And what about servers for those that didn't purchase it. Nadeo still needs to make money on each environment; so we are back to the original question of "make them wait for three enviros at once or release sooner so they can enjoy one enviro while we work on the next?"
They tried the latter this time and we see it didn't go as smooth as we would have liked...
I guess I see what you are saying with your excitement of TM Turbo being an all-in-one standalone exe like the old TMs, if we had all the benefits of the old apps and current ManiaPlanet (all the editor tools, video tools, dedicated servers, etc). Are you suggesting the answer is to move that functionality into TM Turbo and ditch ManiaPlanet altogether?
(Sorry for rehashing, I am trying to understand your perspective and thus look at things myself from a different angle.)
I can understand that reasoning.

It was probably the second Trackmania game for Nintendo DS, which was also called Trackmania Turbo. It came out in 2011, so that would make sense.

I've been wondering if you will keep the 5 minute timer for official races in the solo campaign, or if there will be a different way of competing in the official tracks. Any information on that?

I hope that it will be removed. It was better in old Trackmania when we could try as many times as we wanted.

I personally prefer the TM2 system since it rewards consistency instead of spamming hundreds of attempts like it used to be in TMUF. A mixture of both would for sure be cool though, especially with the huge amount of 200 tracks coming up in TMT.
