I think that this info won't be good for most of the ppl. Not everyone is allowed to buy things online or they even can't shop online because of various reasons. For example, I won't be able to buy it because most probably it won't have the payment methods supported in my country

Whoever had the idea to only allow online purchase...this idea is just stupid.
Trackmania isn't a game only for adults, who are able to purchase online, its also a game for kids. Tell me, how should a 12 year or even younger person buy this game. Many parents dont trust in online payment.
I'm sure, most of the people here want to have a box, I want to have a box. I would even pay...5€ more for it.
I dont know, who had this Idea, Nadeo or Ubisoft, but i guess, it was Ubisoft, but whoever had, this idea is a bad choice for both sides.
For us, it will make some sad to only have a digital account and, which is worse, many won't even able to buy the game, Trackmania is going to be a game just for hardcore gamer, not for (occasional players? I dont know what "Gelegenheitsspieler" means in english) as it once was.
For Nadeo/Ubisoft it will be a lack of income, if so many people won't buy it, I told you the reason why. Just have to keep the Ubisoft copy protection to make sure, that Trackmania-sales will not cover development-costs.
And, as I see Ubisoft, they see the reason in Trackmania itself and abandon this project...in worst case.

I dont really have a problem with that because then this flaming kiddys are away..
but it would be a problem for Nadeo/Ubisoft, because they get less money

Do you really think, the real kids (age 8-12) are the flaming ones? In dont think so, in my view, the flamers are around 14-20 with a bad educational background

Most young people dont even play online and the few who do, they are just driving (as I expirienced);)

I think, on the one side it's a good idea to be able to download it online, because then you save time provided that you have a fast net.
But on the other side it's a bad idea, because neither you get the box of the game nor you can be proud of having the cd and an owner's manual.
Furthermore many people don't have good internet so they have to wait hours over hours until they finally have downloaded it.
Why there are not two possibilities as they are in TMUF? You can download it and buy it in storage, too!

The reason that is given for the "only downloadable" (in France- the info comes from a French magazine) is that gameshops don't want to sell cheap games.
So even if Nadeo wants to sell it in shops, if the shops don't want to sell it, it won't be in the shops....

Same in Australia, we have lots of games being sold for low prices. Can still pick up a copy of TMO for $5-$10.

Like 3D glasses again.
