That's right. But i guess, you can select different downloads if you buy another environment. So you don't need to download as much as possible, but only what you need. So you can give it to new players as a "full"package, while only the new parts to older players (which already have a mainiaplanet environment).

Well, Nadeo has stated several times that ManiaPlanet will evolve with every new release, so it will need an update (almost) every time you install a new game.
