If the engine is the same, it will at least be very easy to import custom things from one game into another.
I don't mean a car into a quest, but on a lower level, textures, sounds, scripts etc.
This way you can make servers for different games but from the same team, easier to personallize (teamalize)
Ontopic:
This project is definately too big to make it a free game.
It would be nice tho if the old tmf stays supported by Nadeo for a long time, and even that findings from TM2 can find their way into tmf by means of an update now and then.

A TMU license could be purchased with coppers for a while, but they don't do that anymore. However, it is a possibility.
But I'll buy everything if I have to, just to support it (though I'm sure it will be fun of course

).

will TM2 be a whole new game or can you download it on the web and activate it with your TMU key/acount?
i'm pretty sure TMU will kinda die after a few months because TM2 will be the new TMU. but than with better graphics and new enviroments
its not like with Call Of Duty that you would get a whole new story to explore.. its just improved and nothing more ?!?
and than another question... it would probably cost alot for just some new environments and better graphics? would you people buy it ?
how do you guys (girls?!?) think about this?
The question we should be asking here is "would you consider integrating TMUF into mania planet?"
If we can switch from TM2 SM QM from one lobby then it could be worth integrating TMUF to prolong and preserve its life, fun and community

that is if it remains to 3 environments per game?
No, you only buy environments here. So, you would buy 9 environments total that belong to 3 games.

I don't really mind how much it costs. I wanted to pay for the Forever upgrade but they just wouldn't take my money! I've had 4 years fun out of about 30 quid. That's unbelievable value for money, considering it's by far the best game I've ever played.
You're getting my cash this time Hylis, no matter how much you protest! Well, atleast for all of the TM2 environments that is, I'll have to wait and see about the other games.

Hmmm, better if TMNF remain where is like Nadeo did in the past with TMN and TMUF become TM².....
The problem could be upgrade? New Game? or what? old key will be good?

yeah i got the same feeling... i wanna pay for TM2 SM and maybe even QM but if you want to be up to date you have to pay 20 bucks extra for every enviroment that comes out... I dont think i would do this.. maybe other people will but thats alot of mony if you got 15 enviroments to come. I realy don't want to spend that much money on a pc game because real life also costs money
