You already can use the windowed mode, directly in the configuration screen of the maniaplanet launcher. It should be something like "display mode".

You can also hit alt+enter while in game if you don't want to go to the menu.

Any chance that if updates and fixes are still being made that the problem I have can be sorted?

I have two monitors, I usually browse on one and game on the other, however if I change focus to my browsing monitor, maniaplanet minimises (as its a full screen proggy)

Can we have a windowed (fullscreen) mode like in World of Warcraft so that I can read the forum whilst updating (like now) etc.

Yes you already have, you can either:
a) launcher/configure/displaymode=windowed_full
b) in game press F11: it switches between windowed and windowed_full
(like alt-enter switch between windowed and fullscreen_exclusive)
c) in game system bar's config : DisplayMode=WindowedFull

Just a question, Hi all
i have A PC With this config
MoBo : gigabyte ga ma78lmt-s2 Am3 series
CPU : Amd athlon II x2 3.00 Ghz
Ram : 8 Go
G.C: ATI R6950 2Go Twin Frozr III
PSU : Axxyoon 630 Watts

but the game freeze during menus and multiplayer gaming i cannot ... my display go blanck and goes and goes freezes
many of freeze can any one tell me why ... ??? or this is fixed in this beta 1.1 ?????? and thanks for reply ....

this is the explanation when i run the game in multiplayer its freezing during gaming ok ....
i cant play thats all ....
my screen goes black and ican play just 2 seconds and then itsgoes black and goes and goes ....

When the game crashes, it creates a crash log. Please attach this logfile to your post. You can find the crash log in "My Documents\ManiaPlanet\LogCrash" or otherwise please post the main gamelog from the "My Documents\ManiaPlanet" directory.
