I tried to use apt for minor update 2.1c but nothing.

So I downloaded the Zip and unzip it into /opt/maniaplanet-server

I tried as this :

Code: Select all

# aptitude update
...
Ign http://static.maniaplanet.com any InRelease
Hit http://static.maniaplanet.com any Release.gpg
Hit http://static.maniaplanet.com any Release
Hit http://static.maniaplanet.com any/main i386 Packages
Ign http://static.maniaplanet.com any/main Translation-fr_FR
Ign http://static.maniaplanet.com any/main Translation-fr
Ign http://static.maniaplanet.com any/main Translation-en
...
# aptitude upgrade maniaplanet-server

I had to make some scripts to make the package generation automatic.

I'll publish a new version soon.

Sorry about the delay  , it should be way quicker next time

That's too bad ... :|
To make this feature really usefull, it's really a pro if it's updated simultaneously with the dedicated server itself...

By the way this update is quite exceptionnal.

Last time it was updated even before the new server was released.

I'm working au make it fully automatic but we prefer to test the package on our servers before we make the deb public.

[edit] For now you can just overwrite files and it will work well.
