Another thing to be fixed imo: our opponents in the first match quit immediatly after the last round. The system didnt give us the victory and we had to wait 6 minuts in the server and get a default win

Sorry, but this system is quite a joke so far.

We've played 2 maps, then the system decided to let us ban the maps so we could actually start the cupgame (lol) - then we lost a map with the score of 8-8 (what?).

So we started playing more maps and then an admin came in and entered a result. I mean. What?

6 rounds for Elite isn't the best either but that's easy to fix. Also, we had a "Confirm default win" button for 4 maps. What if I pressed that after 3 maps? Don't think anyone would say it's acceptable :)

PS.: spectators in an Elite game? Uhm, easiest way to cheat then. Also, random people joining made the Snapshotdelta ~200 for us sometimes, that's everything but fun.

Grats for MALIK tho, they "won" :)

The maps choice were accidentally broken while fixing another bug, only first matches suffer this one. I don't know what are the rules with ties and as I'm not the one developping Elite script I can't help here. Anyway it doesn't come from the system so it can happens in any Elite match.

That's configurable, I just let default settings for this test.

Then there shouldn't be any spectator or any stream in any online competition on any game...

Even if they quit, the system should have give you the victory. Anyway, there's indeed a bug which came back (first map wasn't taken into account) and I'll investigate deeper on it. The weirdest thing is the Joust test we made a few weeks ago worked perfectly, maps were counted as they should...

I apologize for the issues and hope you'll come again in a future test.

Anyway, thanks to all participants, there were some really nice matches.

Don't get me wrong, the system has a great potential and I can't wait for all the bugs fixed :)

I would reply only regarding the spectator thing.

You can't compare a player spectating and a gaming stream!! While in this cup there were like 7 spectators who could see the game REAL TIME and could help their mates from outside, in a gaming stream what you see is delayed so even if you wanted to help your mates, you would be late and could only confuse them with noting an event that happened 10 seconds ago.

Also, a single broadcaster will barely make your snapshotdelta really high, while if a spectator from China, one from the USA and one from Australia joins (yeah, it's never going to happen, but you can see my point), you might suffer due to some lags ingame. It even made it impossible in some rounds for us, and I joined the final to spectate and I saw the guys there warping around till' I noticed I had my downloads on... Which is so easy to abuse.

I'm here to help. Not to whine or flame, please consider these thoughts.

And the positive comment :)

On the contrary - if all the bugs were solved, it's going to be freaking easy to make a nice, and FAST cup, which most of the leagues lack right now - just check ESL, 1 round played after an hour and stuff like that, sometimes it's not worth to waste that amount of time with waiting for your opponent. Now that's great here, not too much but enough time to join, fast games possible, and you don't even have to leave the game. As soon as it becomes a stable system, it's going to grow huge I think.

I would suggest to let the spectating be only done by agreed casters that can log to the game while the tournament is happening and stream to their preferred platform, and even with Twitch directly from within the game. The delay, load capacity and other would be handled better this way. It would be simpler to really follow a tournament, even if you would not be able to follow the exact matches you would like.

we have, on our list of features, the concept of delay for spectators that would give many advantages, such as better quality and the obvious stream hack issue. don't know when we would do it
