I'd like to see just one Start, Finish, Multilap and Checkpoint block that can be "Snapped" to most any block. This would eliminate the need for multiple blocks of those types in the editor but allow many more possibilities for start, finish and CP locations.

Don't add new functions (with new bugs). Instead fix all bugs first. At first the ones that annoy the players. Some examples:

Installation:
Have you fixed the uninstall bug? You would add a test if the path includes the substring 'ManiaPlanet'.
If you open an external map (via double click in windows explorer) or a manialink URL and the game is not running, the game installs the last game update even if is allready installed. Fix this immediately!
And if the game is already running, it shows an error: "Could not determine the title to use!". LOL
Remove the topmost window flag of the game launcher. Why ever you done it. There are better solutions.

ManiaPlanet:
On my 5:4 monitor all ManiaPlanet logos are egg formed. Ha ha ha, Nadeo is not able to draw a circular circle, ha ha ha! ;-)
Some ManiaPub ads are still misplaced. Sometimes I want an option to switch them off.

Playing maps:
Car lights are off if you playing on a night track and have less than 420 MB Video RAM. Its very hard to find the way without car lights. ManiaPlanet 1.0 doesn't had this bug.

Map editor:
The folder browser is empty (not refreshed) while showing the first time. This is irritating.
Calculating shadows/light maps with max. 256 MB VRAM stays very often incomplete without any (OOM) error message.
Mediatracker: Triggers lost its state after respawn.
Mediatracker: Dragging a track marker across a neighbouring one (this was the trick in TMUF to copy settings) caused the lost of this part of the track. The MP way in not documented.

Packager:
Its not possible to edit a map that was included in a maniacredited package. Why?
Its still not possible to delete maniacredited packages.

Mediatracker: Triggers lost its state after respawn. << Confirmed
Mediatracker: Dragging a track marker across a neighbouring one (this was the trick in TMUF to copy settings) << Just select a marker, hold the CTRL key and click on any marker you'd like to copy.

Packager:
Its still not possible to delete maniacredited packages. << Confirmed
Edited the quote a bit

If it hasn't been mentioned in this topic already: completely separate key mappings for TM2, SM & QM.

Settings:
It would be nice to be able to select a range when having the option "Hide too close" in the "Game" settings turned on.

Mediatracker:
UNDO REDO

A thing we have been dreaming of in a "Videomaker" skype chat thing:
Imagine the export of the camera movement to a format, which can be read by preferably AfterEffects (or 3D software). Imagine a world, where there is no need to motiontrack any Track, Shoot or Questmania footage.

Something more realistic:
It would be great if you could add a line(curve) representing the path of a custom camera or camera path when switching to the free cam. This would make positioning the camera a lot easier. There could also be an indicator for the current camera position on the curve at the current time or even small dots representing the camera movement per time -> high dot density = fast camera, low dot density slow camera. That way you could get smooth cameras easier (than it already is with the 2nd generation MT  )

- perfect Installation without the need of reinstalling because "something unknown" failed
- proper deinstallation
- Link to Wiki, FAQ and forum also in the Launcher (e.g. where the Help is)
- find the cause why ManiaPlanet does not start for some people using the Launcher,
and why it runs using ManiaLink but with inappropriate update notification
- Separate video and other performance related settings for the different titles
Some people might install the titles in separate instances of ManiaPlanet, but this is weird and possibly not exactly working good (e.g. regarding updates, profiles, buddies etc.).
- HD lightmaps for servers and clients (perhaps download of precalculated files)
- loading and preparation for next maps data already while driving or latest at the ranking display
- more weather effects, e.g. snowflakes in winter mood, rain (or rain showers), rainbow, fog (which add to the mood, but not affect driving)
- dynamic objects
- larger maps
- "MediaTracker LE" with simplified editing, e.g. with readymade presets or wizards for various typical use-cases
