Galaxy ManiaPlanet on the GA: competitions, custom game modes, talks with developpers etc.
Canyon was presented on GA 2 years before, and ShootMania 1 year before at the same place.
Now the newest development is shown here.

Passion of the gamers boosts Nadeo in their development while not everything can be done by Nadeo.

ManiaPlanet points could be exchanged against goodies on the GA (mousepads, mugs, beverages and food).

Today Stadium Finals with one French and 3 other players.
Yesterday the German Onio won Canyon finals.

Royal, Joust and Elite finals as well very interesting, this afternoon.

In the one year of development since initial announcement, ManiaPlanet was consolidated especially for the competitions.
Although the game (ShootMania) is already available, it will be released officially only in 10 days.
There are still lot of things to do on it.
During the beta players from any other games came with their skills and their habits, and brought many things to ShootMania.
Changes for the release will be quite significant, like moves, weapon changes etc.

Lots of cool stuff was shown today! I really liked the gamemode with spells and the action maker!

yeah. But still no word about QuestMania.

I'm liking the new Stadium blocks… good to see they're finally including some underground ones! I also like how they're part dirt and part road - reminds me of the Rally forest blocks.

Magic frogs jumping instead of cars in TM could be fun

What i liked more (as a non-shooter):
1) l'expression de Hylis quand il vien au future de MP (Hyilis's expression when he talk about future of MP)
2) the Bots
3) the animation editor
4) the competitions-matchsettings vision
5) valley! wow!

I must add that i watched a bunch of nice and educated people, gathering togheter in peace and harmony,
even if they are SHOOTERS!
I found this a real achievement of the concept of E-Sport,
something that Hylis pointed out quite inspired.
This too is a fine ingredient of a solid and ethic vision of gaming,
not a money-machine,
but a good-dreams enabler,
where is no need of zombies, aliens or bloody killings to have fun.
