no, it would transform THIS game into ANOTHER game. for online crashes, go NFS World.Boo425 wrote:I think you might be on to something. like a game mode where opponents become solid would make the game a lot more challenging than ghosts.

Re: Collision Detection for TM2
To put it short, this game would be ALLOT better with collision detection.
You want me to buy the same game with a stupid price with the same kind of stuff from the other series? No.

To Be fare a Collistion detection would be good for the Laps game in tm2, the Collistion could activate on after 1st Lap this would be a realy good idea for this specific game, and new comers would have to wait till next track.
Could be an option as true or false maybe..
so why rule collition out as a game they could make a new pack like the platform script...

The problem doesn't lie in whether it's possible or not.
The problem lies in that for 7 or 8 years now, this is the way Trackmania's been - it's what makes Trackmania Trackmania.
To get the best time you possibly can without having to worry about someone else flubbing up your line. It's an e-sport, a competition, not a demo derby....
Yeah, waaaay back I did kind of advocate collisions, but after playing the game, I thought 'well, that would change a WHOLE lot, wouldn't it?' So it goes, I suppose.

Re: Collision Detection for TM2
There has never been a rumour about collision detection in arena. I think you might just imagined it
@isamu
Can't provide you with a link, but it was rumoured that arena might be the third environment of TM2. But to find more about it, you need to check posts in the old tm forum I think or some from shortly after opening of this forum. Use the search function

In most of the posts, Arena is used for blocks which make a waste "arena", e.g. large curves, parts of the dam style blocks in Canyon.

In terms of ShootMania, it simply designates the field where the battles happen.
This is one is most probably the answer:
