Slightly belated note (I updated
methods site and
static lists a while ago), but this build contains two new methods:
KeepPlayerSlots
boolean KeepPlayerSlots(boolean)
Set whether, when a player is switching to spectator, the server should still consider him a player and keep his player slot, or not. Only available to Admin.
IsKeepingPlayerSlots
boolean IsKeepingPlayerSlots()
Get whether the server keeps player slots when switching to spectator.
The
SetServerOptions and
GetServerOptions methods also have new
KeepPlayerSlots fields (though GetServerOptions doesn't seem have it in API version 2011-08-01).

hi
if i try to start my servers with old maps i get Code: Select all
...ERROR: Map lightmap is not up to date.
how do i fix that?

Hey everyone here,
the new gameserver has a bug with some maps converted from Trackmania Forever.
After hours of working it crashed and we got a bad_alloc error.
Here are the last lines of the logfile:

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::bad_alloc'

Please fix that soon! ( Most of it should be done with a simple try & catch^^)

I suggest that, if the server reaches the catch block, it writes a line to the log, e.g.:
Code: Select all
Could not load map Sunny_Days17.Challenge.Gbx (GGcXeF_xFm3f5COIVTCggnmTBw) due to exception of type std::bad_alloc, skipping...
and then silently skip the map. Maybe there should also be a new Event that gets triggered here for the plugins like xaseco to catch these and be able to show an information to the players.

I´ve tried to do it. But everytime i run this command line (even from TMStadium folder) i got to Shootmania, had to restart to be able to select TM2 Statium and make all the changes manualy from the editor (Open Editor, Edit Track...)... 30 tracks this way
Any1 can help me?
