[B3.1] bring back cams 2 and 7 please

Might only add that doing a (long or even longish) narrow strip wallride with a roof above it is near impossible (for me, admittedly) with current cam2. Switched to cam3 now, but practice (since TMN) shows that sooner or later I'll hit a track where it's not an option.

After the most about cams is already said, I add my reply just for the record. I've never been that much of a fan of TMF/TMU, so when Canyon arrived, life became good...
At this point I'm reaching my max there. No, I'm not a miracle kid (dad), but with both my son and myself charted in the top 5 of my country and both in the top 50 of the world, we did our thing. Spending countless hours trying to win another 1/100 of a second in order to beat the best. Which, as you might have noticed in the "ranking part" of my reply, didn't work out eventualy...
When the rumours where getting stronger about Valley and Stadium, we were happy people. New tracks, new challenges, new possibilities. After waiting and waiting and waiting while the people from Nadeo were working their butts off to get Storm up and running, we were dreaming about the new TM2 envi's. Last week the moment was there. And, as expected from true addicts, we jumped right in to it. With the following results: after my son had played for some time, he litteraly threw up because of the gameplay graphics. It's like being in a rollercoaster after having too much french fries and diet coke... I myself haven't played that long yet, but then again, I'm not able to because I get a mega tunnelvision or litteraly start to shake after a few runs. Although we both have a hyperactivity disorder, this was never that much of a problem in Canyon. On the contrary, our attention deficit was often a gift instead of a limitation.

After playing Stadium for a day or two, we both noticed something was wrong/different, but we couldn't put a name on it. Not realizing that is was probably nothing more than the cam positions. Besides the feeling of driving on a glass pane instead of a race track. Don't get me wrong, I don't want 65 new Canyon tracks (I would actualy, but that's not the issue here ), so a new envi is wonderful, but it all feels like a mega downgrade. While Canyon could compete with some other great race games in the sence of looks and feel, Stadium gives me the feeling of playing Lego Racers or something. In Canyon you ride a track, in Stadium you ride ABOVE a track.

Maybe bringing back the Canyon cam 2 would do the job. SO PLEASE DO!!

The reason for this whole story is that I read more replies from people complaining about their stomache and if, and I repeat, IF the current Stadium version really does this to your head/body, it might cause more problems to people who are somewhat more sensitive and it's something that should be looked into...

I hate new cameras especially num 2.
Much worse in turns... I have got small car in the middle of my big LCD.

I agree with Frost, i think it would be a good choice to add a 4th camera. 1,2 and 3 the original camera's from TMF and as 4th the new '2' camera.

I also like the new Cam2 but I prefer the old one. So the "keep new cam2 and add the old cam2" solution are IMO the best one

I also have it difficult with new cam 2. It feels more like cam 1 (chase cam) but closer. I have to learn again how to drive with this cam. It feels like I am a big noob again, although I was mid-skilled techdriver in tmuf. It would be nice if you could personalise some cam buttons (ex. cam4-6).

Could anyone from the developers explain why they changed cam 2? It would already help if we would know why...

I like the new cam 2. It gives very much a feeling of being in the game. On a large monitor it works well (24 inch 16:9). I can imagine if you have been playing TMNF a lot you find it weird. But I have mostly played Canyon the last months, so to me this new cam 2 feels just right.

When I played TMNF I used cam 1, but the new cam 2 feels and looks so good and right that this is what I currently prefer. I like being in the game rather than looking from above on a car that's in a game.

glad to see this thread cos i was beginning to wonder if i was the only one finding it difficult with this new cam 2.
Too far, too low , & somehow very tiring & dizzying .I have been playing for 4 years on TMU & never had that "sicky" feeling.Makes the game less attractive & really frustrating cos i have to readjust the driving, much less fun especially when your mates have no problem with their unchanged view 1....
Makes me wonder if i really want to stick to the game or not .
