Racing games.. If I exclude TM I'd say Burnout Paradise was the game I loved the most. Free roaming, events without a vast driving line, crashing fun, just great.
RPG.. I enjoy RPG as long it's pure action. I like to smash my way though it all

.
FPS games.. I hate them all. No exception.

Maybe ShootMania will be the exception that proves the rule

Who knows, it's more the type of gameplay and usually graphics that don't interest me at all. Those uber-realistic war games with whatever are boring to me, but most people like those games. I've never liked realistic games anyway, both in gameplay and graphics.
I usually don't like first person gameplay as well, however, I do love minecraft somehow, and I first thought that I would hate it. Probably due it's building stuff, crafting etc. Not just boring shooting stuff. That's probably more like QuestMania (Will it contain combat?).

FPS: I Had like oldschool FPS like Quake Live,Urban terror, Elite Force(Star trek game), I also like the modern FPS type, like Crysis for the solo and the Battlefield epic Multiplayer.
In SM I would like to see Big Maps and Vehicules with a Fast Gameplay and more advanced Urban Terror type of wound(In Urt when your shot at the leg you can't sprint, etc.)
RPG:: I love the modern Elder Scrolls, my favourite is Morrowind, but Oblivion gave me good times too, I played the first Elder scrolls like 5 minutes so I can't say I have played all Elder Scrolls but they are so nicely done.
In the RPG type I am kinda of a Mass Effect fan too, where your choices gives an impact on the game, and you can control your own crew and ship.
Racing: My best moments are on TM, but I have also good moments on Burnout Paradise.

General: I love games where you don't need to customise everything. You can just get on and play. I love knowing how good you are with a rank and/or rating. I need an incentive to become better at the game, shoot for the top. In the new games I'm hoping for some sort of ranking system that actually shows how good you are, not how much you've played. The ladder system in trackmania is really just whose played most. You should lose points when you lose against players of less points to make it an actual guide to your skill level. Where I have played with this is actually in a strategy game but I think it is still relevant.
FPS- Getting headshots, fast-paced (I like smaller multiplayer maps), difficulty level settings (from halo where you can finish a game, then go back and do it on legendary, which increases the campaigns playability by about 5 times) I like games with less stupid gimmicks. I am a big halo fan and my favourite is halo 1. All the others focus too much on graphics and gimmicks to make people buy the game and actually ruin the simple fun in halo 1. Playing snipers or all rockets on a small map with friends and/or family is my favourite way to play a FPS,
RPG- I don't play any RPG's as the one's I have played before involve alot of moving from place to place and not much doing anything. And when you are doing something it's customising your character, saying what to kill with and then the character kills them for you. Or there's 1 attack button and your character swings something or shoots something and you can't really control where. I don't like RPG's simply because they tend to revolve around customisation and character development, both of which I find boring.
Racing- Really the only racing game I've ever been hooked on is trackmania. I love that it's simple, fun and there's no "completing" the game. There is never an end. You can get all author medals, which some might say is completing the game, but really you still have the skill points ladder and the ladder points ladder to climb. I find that competing for skill points is my favourite thing to do. I'm not a very good player and getting 10k-20k skill points from 1 race is a massive thrill. Knowing that I can then try another level. When I play trackmania I find myself spending half my time trying to win coppers and the other half spending them. And I love every minute of it!!!

Best moments in FPS :
My best FPS moments are all gameplay related, it's all about the "feel" of the game rather than what actually happens, whether I win or loose.
loved playing Counterstrike (from CS beta5 until v1.3), tight gameplay, lots of great maps being regularly added
loved playing Shattered Horizon (before the firepower "new guns" update), managing zero gravity intelligently, tight and precise gameplay, hitscan weapon with clever grenade mechanics (the 3 basic grenades deal no damage but influence gameplay dramatically). The new shattered horizon is less good (they broke the magic formula when they introduced the new guns and time-of-flight bullet physics, and most importantly : they did not keep the old gamplay in special classic mode : they removed it completely)
Half-life 2 : Alyx (incredible character), the physics engine with the ambiance, moving through the water canals (but i don't like the weapons, they not precise enough and feel weird, except the gravity gun)
Left 4 Dead 1 : perfect gameplay, there is a very limited number of assets, guns and item but each has a specific role but is still useful in most situations, the feel and sound of the weapons fit exactly their role
Best moments in racing :
Richard Burns Rally : the physics of the car can be disturbing because it's a sim, but with a proper wheel and pedals, learning how the physics work, controlling the vehicle and feeling every bump in the road blasting through the narrow forest tracks of the Japanese Rally is one of my most memorable racing game experiences ever.
Trackmania : the sheer speed and precision of Island with an analog pad, right at the edge of drifting (i tried with a steering wheel, it's awesome but too many tracks have rapid successions of left/right corners which get very tiring with a wheel force me to use a pad)
F-Zero X - F Zero GX : same as above : speed, precision, and playing with the game's physics to stay right at the edge of drifing.
Trackmania again : create my track, then go online and have other people play it, race my time, and comment in real time in the chat.
Best moments in RPG :
Secret of Mana : multiplayer !!
Metroid Prime : (it's first person view but it's more an adventure/rpg than a FPS) freedom of movement, progressive exploration with each new item and upgrade, non-stop gameplay (no loading times), feel of continuity in the world, amazing ambiance of the Chozo temple.
Planetside : (an other first person game but it's definitely more RPG or even strategy than a shooter because shooting skill makes only little difference), massive battles in which a single non-combat related decision can tip off the balance of an entire battle, bringing a mobile spawn point in time before the others are dstroyed, dropping a squad in a carrier behind enemy lines, hacking support enemy bases to prevent them spawn or slow their equipment supply, choosing a target area in a bombing surprise run... and then SOE decided to add lots of add-ons that made serious unbalances in the game and ruined everything.
The rest is mostly story and ambiance based : I don't care much about ultra-complex skill combination, calculating skill hit points or dices. A small amount or complexity and skill variety is nice but too much complexity ruins everything for me.
Final Fantasy 7 (story and ambiance, who didn't cry when Aerith died ? seriously...)
Final Fantasy 8 (story and ambiance, the first half, until the fight between the flying fortress schools)
Mass Effect (ambiance of the main mission areas, the side quests and the story was average)
The legend of Zelda (OcarinaOfTime/WindWaker/TwilightPrincess) : from start to finish : just the perfect mechanic of adventure, exploration, dungeon maze, ambiance, action, skill and item upgrade, effect of your success on the world, freedom of movement and feel of continuity in the world.
(and yes I did Like OOT's Water Temple, I'm probably the only one but I'm proud of it)
My best moments in the Zelda Series are the Forest temple in OOT, Rescuing Epona in OOT, Dragon Roost Island and dungeon in WW, Earth god"s temple in WW with the flying girl (forgot her name) and Molgera boss battle, The interaction between human and wolf link in TP, Zant boss battle in TP
There is one problem with RPGs though : story and ambiance usually don't mix well with multi-player
Multiplayer RPGs with very simple stories work better than with complex stories (I could not care at all about the Story in Guild Wars for example, didn't even read the texts, "just click OK dammit the other players are waiting" !)

FPS:
Co-op. I love co-op. Alien Swarm is the only shooter I play. This is because that whenever the game is first person, my skills become completely useless. I am a huge fan of gameplay that requires teamwork. To me, there's no better feeling than taking a team of guys into a tough level with adequate preparation, and using team work and communication to succeed.
RPG:
I do not play any RPGs, but I do love explosions. Whether or not the latter half of the previous sentence is relevant is left to you as the reader
Racing games:
This is a close one.
On the one hand, there's the joy of going into a GRID session with a bunch of friends and making up our own rules in Freestyle Drift (usually cops and robbers, where the goal is to not get totaled), or going to a track and make huge crashes with epic flying-car aftermaths. My xfire page (remember xfire?

) is littered with evidence of such adventures. This is, however, completely dependent on playing with the right people.
On the other hand, there's the satisfaction of building a track and watching other people enjoy it online. Being able to share creations with the world is a great experience in itself.

I got more gaming experience this period so i will post another ones if it's no problem
FPS:
-Ah, i had great moments with Battlefield Heroes

It was so epic when someone else was flying the plane and I stayed on the wing and sniping enemies

Also, i had a lot of fun when someone was using the parachute, and while i was flying the plane i hit him with the wings and killed him

Vehicles would be cool in SM, but they won't fit in Storm env.
RPG:
-WoW: It's so cool when you go in groups to complete dungeons. Killing bosses and all this stuff

Nothing more to say.
Racing:
-All I can say here is "
Trackmania"
Both editor and multiplayer racing are so awesome

I think I'm going to post again, if that's not considered spamming (if so I'll just delete, but now I actually understand the nature of the topic...)
FPS--integrated teamspeak. Yes, I know it can sometimes get nasty, but that's what the "mute" function is for.

But I feel that in a shooter, especially a team-based shooter, the ability to communicate with your teammates -outside- of text chat is a must. Facilitates squad commands better, and all around better teamplay.
Racing--the ability to get in and race with the pros regardless of your "level". TM has always done this well, but some other self-styled "racing MMOs" make you grind up the level tree before you can really race a nice car, or get the top equipment, or whatever. So, just keep doin' what you've been doin' with TM and I'll be happy.
RPG--Teamplay. (are you sensing a theme here?

) I just got into Champions Online (F2P version of City of Heroes, for those interested) a few months ago, and there's nothing more satisfying than going questing with a super-team, especially if it's made up of "friends", rather than just random matchmaking.
