Paid 5000 planets for an elite key for pfm.
Got the email with the key & the link.

He tried to install the game form that link.
But doesn't work

He gets this message when trying the key:

Key registration failed.
The registration of this key is pointless.

After dismissing the message another one pops up saying:

Could not install or update the title's files...

Trying to associate it to his account on the maniaplanet player page site it says key is in use already

Any ideas?

I gave my mate a free account and it works.
However he has a lot of issues when playing and its absolutely no insentive to buy this game.

Issues :

1. When we both are set as alley the game doesnt put us together 50% of the matches we play.
( this sucks cuz he only has 3matches/day )

2. When we both do F6 at the same time I spawn... But he doesnt. He is looking ( as a spectator ) to his screen, falling asleep for 5-10minutes untill a match finally starts. This is 30% of the time.

3. When he does spawn after F6 he is warping insaaaaaanely. When the match starts the game just runs fine.

4. Sometimes he loses 100planets:
--> After a mapchange
--> After cancelling a match

So now he can even play less than 3matches/day

5. Maps arent fun at all compared to the ones I can play public. ( this i my opinion. )


So to sum it up : The matchmaking is failing as hell for people with invites. I think we tried to play together 20matches & actually enjoyed 5 ( bugfree )
This is unacceptable.
I know its in beta ( only cuz i read this forums ), but my mate didnt know and he decided not to buy the game.
You just lost a customer & im sure he isnt the only one.

Can't be true. If you are both set as ally, you'll be in the same team, every time. You have to have no more than 2 allies.

cant be true?

I have him on my screen ( visually ) as ALLEY in the F6-window ( i hope u know what I mean )
He has me on his screen ( visually ) as ALLEY
He is sitting next to me so I can see it with my own eyes.
Somehow we arent playing together
We even check , every time, in the chat if we are still alleys.

So pls dont answer its 'not true' cuz it is. And it is true & I heard this complaint from other friends too.


Cancelling a match is when a match starts and I see that im not in his match. ( so , again, we end up playing seperately ) so I tell him to cancel his match so we can start to look for a new match ( = 5min ) and then it happened that he lost planets and at the end we could only play 2 matches in total.

I confirm, it happend also to me. We were allies but we were put in different matches, my friend had a standard invitation.
