Serious note tho'. That car is in my cache, but yet to see it on any server or player.

Brings me back.. why can't I see players skins although they are downloaded into my cache ?

Anyhow, I'm sure Nadeo will clear this up in due time, very strange no-one has responded

There is no ingame advertising. This skin has been created by a player but it's not linked to an ingame advertising. When we had an ingame advertising system in Forever, ads were placed on the panels, not on the skin.
There are ingame skins created by Nadeo (skins of each country) and ingame skins created by nadeo live that we can download on the maniaplanet store.

Must be because the skin was named 'STADIUMCARDEFAULTSKIN' and it got shared via P2P. That's the only way I can see that skin landed up in my cache folder. BTW it's quite fun driving with that car, makes me thirsty all the time.

Lets hope they fix the root cause of this (skin resetting bug) + the exploit.
Quite serious if some one can spread any skin like this...

But anyway I'm glad it wasn't advertisement, in Nadeo we trust

Well, there will always be ways and means of people to exploit avenues. If my theory is correct. (which you are welcome to dispute) is that the cache always overrides any standard skins, mods etc. if the file corresponds.

Oh, I found the Valley Default Skin.... maybe i will replace it with the Ribbid trolley car
