Maniaplanet Update #3.1 Wishlist

Here is my list

1) Wish: New Blocks for Canyon and Valley (especially Canyon) ! (a real nr. 1 on my list! )
2) Bugfix: replay 'onelap' bug
3) Wish: A more flexible serverbrowser (filters included) where the first standerd order is the number of players instead of echelon.
4) Wish: items for Canyon and Stadium as in Valley
5) Wish: Bring back global ranking in Canyon and Valley and maybe also in Stadium: some players are not playing ROC anymore because they have no competition in their region (see South America) and remain at 100K LP for months now while doing nothing.
6) Bugfix: Please reduce the delays to 0 as much as possible in scripted mode for respawning and intro see

Wishlist:

- Fix Spectator changes on non-spectating:
(Seems a bug in overall as spectator ids are not always the same)

- When a ScriptSetting is changed let a method return the changed value. Now its uncertain if it was changed or not. (Also add a callback to query the #Setting)

+ Dedicated Manager Tool +
- Make a way inside the Dedicated Manager tool to see if the clublinks of both teams are correct or not. (I have a partial design but not sure if it looks good in the eyes of the team ^^)

- A quick switch between multiple servers with a tab.

The tools have a good potential but are not used as much and recieve less notice i think from team where the community picks it up to take some advantages ^^.

- more support for competitions (maybe with cash prizes), especially for TM Canyon and Valley (best example were the competitions by Beyond Gaming)

- Allow the ValleyCar and CanyonCar on Stadium maps in the multi-environment title - if the maps are built properly, the result can actually be awesome (Valley on Stadium is imo much better than combinations like Coast on Island in TMUF^^)

Will extend this list if something else comes to my mind.

My wishes for Maniaplanet & Shootmania even though everything has been said already before me ... :

-Promote the game in other country than France.
-Make popular titles Free2Play @ Elite, Royal, etc ...
-A Clear and better looking interface, menu & in-game.
-Solid ranking system based on skill and not the time you spent playing the game. For solo players and team players.
-Visible weapon, kewl sound effects, etc ... MORE atmosphere. Also, in-game voice communiction would be sth nice, like in CS:GO for exemple.
-A bind for each weapon (Laser, rockets, nuc, arrows) not just actions 1,2,3 ...
-Improve the movement, it feels really clunky to me, and also very limited. Give player more freedom and possibilities, I found the 'B2" movement a lot better than it is now (still clunky), dunno what for all the nerf.
-Adjusting the field of view according to the players preferences.
-Add a tiny bit of gravity, I feel like a moon man.

Hello!
My personal whishlist about ShootMania:
1-Improve hitbox & hit detection.
2-Bring back B2 WallJumps (Or at least, B3 WallJumps), with the current ones you're not able anymore to do some interesting movements outplaying your opponents.
3-Make Rocket Bounces much more effective, not just on pole, everywhere.
4-As an attacker, being on speedpads/redzones killing a defender you'll get almost an instant-reload. It's OP, change it giving the "normal" faster reload you get killing someone.
5-Be able to jump in the tunnels is completely useless and annoying, remove it.
6-Bring back the possibility to download replays.
7-A better ranking system and maybe even team-ranking. Give us something to play for & comeback every day.
8-Publicity/Advertisements outside the community to attract new players and expand the playerbase.

Last wishes (Maniaplanet & Shootmania) :

- Complete & easy keyboard navigation in menu. I mean, I want to get on the game server without touching my mouse.
- I see some people asking for a visible weapon on screen, personnally i prefer without. If you do so, make it as an option in settings please.
