hi its me again with a new buddy problem, after the latest update i can no longer access buddys, it shows as offline and nothing works when i try to click, im unsure if it means im offline or if it means all buddys are offline but i see them connected to servers

at the game start, which option do you chose? Connect, Silent, Offline?

Make sure your firewall is not blocking ManiaPlanet, especially after the update.
Because if you have some unusal UAC settings (e.g. no message), you won't be able to update properly.
Try to run ManiaPlanet with administator priviledges, also run it in windowed mode, to see if there is any message from Windows or your antivirus security suite.

Hi TMarc at the game startup i click connect, the first thing what shows is that script window and i have to press Esc to shift it, the ports looks fine and are forwarded in my router and the firewall is not blocking.

ok. Strange with the script error, you can also hide it with CTRL+G.
Perhaps some part of the update did not work well.
Check if you have .tmp files in your ManiaPlanet folder or in your PacksCache folder, and delete them.
What you can also do, download and extract the current debug version, and upload the content of the most recent logfile (Maniaplanetlogsomethingdatetime.txt).

Attention: the debug version only works if you don't have Steam version of ManiaPlanet.

Ive deleted all files in the PacksCache folder and started up the debug version, its updated and fetched back up the script window, and just seen the end of your post, cant debug im not on the steam version

If you're running standalone, you can run the debug version

ah ok i missed that, checking now

Where does it save the log to ?

im running the debug version from the directory where the game is installed, i dont see any log file in that directory after running

really? did you start ManiaPlanetLogs.exe ?
It should save it in your user documents/ManiaPlanet folder, and usually crahs logs are stored into a LogCrash subfolder.
