War not needed, just telling own history. :P

It sounds so interesting what have you pointed TMarc. Didn't even thought that Nadeo would ever think about porting United into ManiaPlanet (Speculation of course). :)

At least if something like this would be real, there must be exchange between games (coopers > planets, ladder points / 2) and ability to reuse old key (Who doesn't remember awkward moment when a free Stadium beta became 5€ game).

The solution with port is nice idea, due 4x more people waste time in United instead way optimised ManiaPlanet (live chat system is already 20 steps forward). Problem is that players don't want to pay for nearby the same game twice. Instead there should be micro payments for some secured (GBX) addons (mappacks, skins, whatever...). Or just demo at all.

Offtop: paradox - United has Stadium itself, what would happen to TM2S If it would be converted?

That WAS true. Now it's not true. Just be realistic.
According to the website it has 10K daily players ( but dont forget thats for 4-5games )
That's actually very low. Maniaplanet lost its fame.

I think the community already did soooooo much to keep it alive, but now we need the devs to polish this game into a premium bugfree product with a personality. That's not something we, the community, can do.

Yeah, we can help with that. Visually.

Shootmania is currently gaining a lot of momentum video-wise. Ze-Rax and his CPLAY videos for instance. These are wonderfully made and people who want to know about the game will find their gold from there.

How can we act? Easy: These CPLAY tournaments or other community tournaments and competitions (Smurfscup Royal, SiegeCup, Combo, several others, ...) can help building up alot of momentum inside the playerbase. The more people know about it, the more people will play it. Frostbeule's Weekly Race is the most successful of all these events; it's so simple. Join and play for the crown. Eventually you win something.

Simplicity might be the key. I see TM and SM as simple games with more complex mechanics you are able to learn and master. "Easy to play, hard to master." A great slogan imho. This shall also be used for future advertisements from Nadeo's side. Nadeo could support those who have aspirations for Shootmania/Trackmania being at a LAN nearby. All this need to be supported from the top before it can stand on its own shoes, so you are definetly not wrong.

In my opinion, the biggest "disaster" (sounds harsher than it might be) is the lack of accessibility in North America. How often people from NA joined my private combo servers to have a nice play with us and leaving, knowing that they can only play this game like once in 2 months online. Imo it is not too late to support NA activities. I also want to mention that people from NA can actually play on EU servers with barely noticable lags, as long it isn't Elite. Combo has been proven to be very playable across the world (I hosted a private server on my 50k internet, people from Australia, Scotland and US (Washington) joined and played with a really acceptable snapshot. LINK)

EDIT: https://youtu.be/qbKhnxnSJSU?t=17m40s this one is funny.

( CPS will take a break in the summer btw which means no vids & no 'big' league during a couple of months .
I wish we could do it during the summer, but with summer holidays etc I dunno...

I'd like to link Season#3 to ESWC ( winner takes a ESWC slot ), but I dont know if there will be a 3rd season for now. )

I can not answer all of you, not because I have nothing to answer, but because the moderator asked me to keep quiet.

You Lie!

...and no, asking for Trackmania Lagoon or new titles doesn't count. We all are waiting for it.
@ To killaprodtm:

I will answer you in a personal message. Since the letter that I will send to you contains personal correspondence from Nadeo.

Cool! It turns out since as "you said". We have to wait another six months after the news of updates. We still have to wait a half year? Are you mad Nadeo? :roflol:

Maybe I'll stop answering the messages (probably for the best) since I got a warning about my activity on the forum.

Thanks for understanding. ツ

As I asked you in public and I am sure people want to know if I got the proof I wanted, I just want to say I didn't get it (in my opinion).

Let's make a deal. If after 1-2 months developers do not release the Lagoon. Then you take your words itself. If it not, update will come out soon for two months, then I'll take my words.

Deal?

Forum is useless if you create topic and reply to others via PM. Thought people are here to discuss tohether, nope?

EDIT: What's the point of deal with killaprodtm? Is it his interest when update comes?

I know your views on this subject. However, you need ask a permission on Nadeo. Since this is a personal message. If you get permission then I will publish them. (you can also ask killaprodtm to help you, I'm sure he make it).

EDIT: Correct.
