Re: [BUG] Lagoon wood loops are totally random
Even if you can pass that triple loop, you can't really control car behaviour so at the end results will be random - depends on luck, not skills. One of map in solo campaign (white probably) has that loop (triple) at the end and I fail 95% of times (all map drive perfect except last annoying part).
Re: [BUG] Lagoon wood loops are totally random
that's incredible ,they have had years of testing and come out the game with those giant bugs. The had also post poned the day of game coming out of months.
not only wood is splippery in lagoon, but also sand and rollercoaster. magnetic road is difficult to handle.

Re: [BUG] Lagoon wood loops are totally random
well, after years of Trackmania with wide roads, they had to increase the challenge.
But apparently for some, they failed, right, riolu?
The different track types in Lagoon can be handeled, if you drive really in the middle. It's a matter of practise.
This is valid for the sand and for the rollercoaster, and also for the concrete paths.
And actually it was the same with the Rallye environment in Trackmania original, on its small dirt paths, but people tend to forget that very easily.
A bit similar to that is perhaps the new dirt path in Valley.
Only the wood planks in Lagoon are somehow weird. On flat parts, it's relatively ok if you don't steer too much and handle the drifts well.
But as rat_in_car reported, behavior in loopings is just mad, and the total contrary of precise and predictable trajectory which we are used for the other parts. To have good races here is like lottery.

Looks like it lolTMarc wrote:well, after years of Trackmania with wide roads, they had to increase the challenge.

The behavior on wooden blocks is NOT a bug, it's a feature.meow81 wrote:that's incredible ,they have had years of testing and come out the game with those giant bugs.
Question: Have you even played the game? Rollercoaster is nowhere (literally even nowhere) close to being slippery. The grip is out of this world to be honest.meow81 wrote:not only wood is splippery in lagoon, but also sand and rollercoaster. magnetic road is difficult to handle.

Absolutely, wallrides of Sunrise Extreme are nothing against thatacceleracer_01 wrote:The behavior on wooden blocks is NOT a bug, it's a feature.

But it was not only a question of grip, rather of handling.
We want Acceleracer's Driving Academy

I prefer riolu over "acceleracer"TMarc wrote: We want Acceleracer's Driving Academy![]()

I wish there was a way to change the nickname though haha

There is one easy: create a new account, and I'll disable the other one.acceleracer_01 wrote:I prefer riolu over "acceleracer"TMarc wrote: We want Acceleracer's Driving Academy![]()

But renaming, this only the admins can tell if it is possible (you could contact Cerovan or Alinoa).

This is what worshipers says about every bug in every program. :)acceleracer_01 wrote: The behavior on wooden blocks is NOT a bug, it's a feature.
I prefer try to improve something by reporting a problem. I remember what people says about difficult elements in Canyon, which was way easier than this "lucky" loops. If very good player says that straight simple loop is "hard as hell" then I expect that normal players or novice players can discourage the game. And mapmakers will not use these loops at all (like that big canyon loop). I think the only platform elements (wooden) should be improved. Is still time to do that, increasing grip (especially on loops) do not affects existing maps and can made this game better.
