well you are from Germany right?

look here then: https://geizhals.de/xfx-radeon-r9-380-d ... at&hloc=de

So under full load the 960 takes 50-70 Watt less than the R9 380. Now calculate if you play 4 hours a day how much more you will pay in a year? 20€ per year. But honestly is your GPU running 4 hours and 7 days a week under full load? :?:

And its fact that the R9 380 is around +-0 --> 10% faster than the 960.

It was only an example calculation what you can do with money.
How long do you want to suffer from bad fps? After all, you're a Trackmaniac, right?
Shouldn't you have a PC that is good enough to handle the game by the time you're here? ;)

Like "TMarc" already said. It was an example of how much more money you would pay if you would run your Pc 4 hours a day and 7 days a week under full load in comparison with the GTX 960...

still it would be great to know which power supply you exactly have.

I bought my (current) pc last year (~april) because my old crashed too often. But with the time all hardware is louder, it crashes too and i have only ~15-20 fps. I'm buying the GeForce GTX 960 Card. Thanks crannyman, but a friend (from a hardware-market) recommended it.

Well the GTX 960 truly is not bad. Still the R9 380 is cheaper but faster however the 960 consumes less power.
Have fun with it, hopefully it will work out well

according to your Pc. The crashes or loud noice could be because your PC overheats. Maybe not enough Case Fans (bad airflow) or just dusty coolers and Fans.

Your mainboard will like it because it provides a PCI-e x16 slot.
Well if your biggest Idol jumps from a tower, would you do the same? No offence :D
