Maybe it's a case sensitivity issue? That it does check "zell" (equal to TMU login) but not "Zell" and then you can steal a nick by registering a non-lowercase version of the name. Since this forum software is case insensitive, the original owner then cannot register "zell" because "Zell" already exists.Zell wrote:Yeah I'm confused too.
I registered "Zell" which is my TMU account name. I registered with a different email and different password than my TMU account. So clearly this isn't linked, otherwise that would mean that I could register as "Zooz" on this forum for example, and suddenly be connected to his TMU account?
It would be nice if these forum accounts will save our nicks for TM2 and maniaplanet though
Issue to use your United account ?

Re: Issue to use your United account ?
I'm pretty sure he said nothing about the nicks, but about a connection between the froum account and the ingame account. If you look for example in the WOW froum, you see the user tag, his character, his lvl and and and und the avatar.konte wrote:No, please no crazy unreadable special-sign-only names here in the forum^^Zell wrote:It would be nice if these forum accounts will save our nicks for TM2 and maniaplanet though
Re: Issue to use your United account ?
Well I've registered as 'dec', but my TMU login is 'dejan88' and I got 2 verification mails for both logins on the same address, even though when I registered as 'dec' the warning message that this wasn't my TMU login popped up. So I think there's a way to get around that system, obviously.
Re: Issue to use your United account ?
My first try to register to this forum fail, because I tried to choose an other password with my tm login. The systhem said that the password isn't the same like my TMU pw. So it works with the linking accounts. And I write three letters in my name capital while I register. My TM login is written small. So I think you can write it big or small if you want.
Without chaos, the order would be lame^^

I got this issue I think... I registered as HeZiX, not hezix, my TMUF login ... I wonder if this forum account and my TMUF one are linked ^_^Zooz wrote:Maybe it's a case sensitivity issue? The login check is case insensitive but it's not the case for the password
