Yea, wow, over a year now this topic has been sleeping. With so many new options now for customizing the topic of new environments has kind of gone into limbo. I still think we need a good snow environment to really round out the options but hopefully something with new snow & ice physics. (a little less arcade feeling than Alpine was)

I too like the idea of a water based environment but I'd like to see a hovercraft with good cornering abilities. Something that can go over land and water but would have the same physics on either. Of course a real hovercraft has a lot (and maybe too much) drift, but that can be redesigned with jet or rocket side thrusters to help with cornering.

Yeah, something like official TM2 Tundra envi would be super cool.

Anyway, I got an idea with TM with boats. It might be possible to do that, because we have great tools and features that makes that possible. Imagine you will do custom vehicle with custom physics in Valley environment. Under the water will be a invisible plate that will feel that the boat is floating on it. If I didn't have much work, I'd try it.

I'd love a big environment with huge mountains and cliff routes, kinda like valley and a touch of Canyon and Coast.

If there was a new environment coming, I'd want it to be universal, kind of like Stadium, with a wide variety of tracks you can build in there, ranging from full-speed to tech or acrobatic, offering some platforming challenges...

Theme-wise I'd love to see an environment in the style of Bay, where the terrain is in the form of buildings.

I wish me an Environment with a NEW Physic-Model.
But not a Environment ala the same Physic-Model how like Canyon --> Valley (bad) --> Lagoon (very bad) --> XXX (absolutely bad). No thanks !!!

I've worked on boatmania a quite long time ago in Lagoon (just after the release). Works perfectly except a important issue : the speed is too low i think. Funny to play but limited lifetime (less possibilities on sea than on ground).

For these reasons and because of lack of motivivation, I stopped to develop the concept and also the special boat (base on TM Turbo formula but without damages at this time).

Maybe I should transmit all this stuff to community if someone is interesting to develop it ?

Could be a cool project, you should upload it somewhere!
