Well "tax is lower". I think 30k loss is still a bit much or? I dont have much income atm, but if I lose every month ~30k I will be soon on 0 planets? That would be really sad :/

Hmmm...
I think I will never understand your goal with the planets.^^ People get 5k planets for each title +20 (or +10) daily bonus and on the other you side include a tax to "stop" the "inflation". I wish you could tell us your goal - but to stop the inflation (which is virtual) seems for me unreal :?

This was no offence of your system or against you, I'm just confused^^

The last month I had less than 10k income. I'm an active player using planets, I buy server accounts, donate planets, donate planets for competitions prizes of the community (big amounts) makes tags for competitions and friends etc

My manialink generated more or less 1.5 million planets and on my account I "only" have 450k (before tax 480k) This means I spent more than 1 million planets on the system, and I'll still do it unless I have to keep them for important things such as personal laddered servers (a couple of 90k LP accounts for different titles its a 160000 planets minimum base for me)

So why taxing me ? I'm not keeping planets until it gets "meaningless amount"

I totally agree with you. I had more then 500k only for ladderservers (atm arround 300k). I really dont understand the tax system. Maybe half the planets new players get. Or just 2000.

I don't have time for debate atm, but quickly

1. If we give 0 planets to other players, they can't buy the stuff you offer
2. If we give 100 to other players, there is more and more planets in the system
3. if there is two times more planets, you are two times less rich, since richness is not about the number but the proportion. Otherwise, we can easily multiply all the planets and price from all players per 10.
4. So, we try to keep all price stable, like 10000 planets is as hard to win today than in a year.
5. Since the system was complicated to understand, we made it transparent into a single unit, but the tax computation is the complicated part I can not enter. You should only know there are two: one short term (revenues of the month) and one long term (savings)

hope it helps

Your explanation synthesizes what the system does and it sounds logical and understandable.

You prevent virtual money inflation and that's good. But still, if I'm constantly spending planets on the system and promoting the planets usage there should be a tax reduction for these people. You talk about monthly revenues tax and long time savings tax. What about taking in consideration a "spent planets bonus" (which would mean less taxes on monthly revenues) Maybe i'm saying sh*t  and this is already implemented.

the biggest effort we did in that area is the tax free transactions, but you have a good understanding of it

in fact, we would like to keep tax system efficient, so exceptions are unlikely to be made, or people will start to evade ^_^

got a better fix for that - just remove the singleplayer-timer and make it like in TMUF and the inflation won't be as high as it is right now.

indeed, if a service of Nadeo would be used, taxes would be reduced, since we give planets to new players from our central maniaplanet bank ^_^

the services in itself should be debated in other topics, of course
