When you play Elite mode, you wait almost half of the time, but it's still really fun.
Maybe we should find a better/funnier way to wait ;)

Yes its also one case, but when its 1 vs 3 theres no ways to go around. But if theres some reasonable ways to make waiting in any mode interesting im all in :)

I always try to help my teammate when he is attacking by suggesting a route or saying stuff like " there is one behind you".

I also remember where the defending players were so I could use this information to my benefit in my own attacking round.
+ An attacking round is maximum 1minute. Every six rounds you have to wait 2minutes max. Its not that bad imo.

In the new game mode Realm, when you have to wait like 30seconds, this maybe could be interesting :) because u can die a lot.

Hey Hylis,

I know a lot of people contribute on these forums and things can get quite lost in the mix, would you be willing to discuss (privately) some changes that can be made for competitive elite play; these discussions would come from a group of pro players I can bring together to define what the problems are and how they effect play. I have asked several players on the top NA and EU teams that are interested in forming this group, however, we need a direct connection with someone on your end to discuss issues. Although I understand the game needs to benefit all players, especially new ones, we would like to have our opinions voiced and noted more directly with the developers with a group consensus on changes.

Also, we would be well aware that not all changes are possible and that's why I have always been an advocate of separating gameplay mods into 'Competitive' and 'Standard' sections. Same mods just different rules.

Anyways- please let me know if this interests you.

@Hylis
A lot of people(including me) on servers saying that the grappling hook often don´t work after the wood parts(the sliding ones). Maybe you can take a look at this, it´s very annoying sometimes. I have some vids about it, if you want one tell me;)

Another thing is that wj also have sometimes a strange behavior. It sometimes also don´t work the way you would expect it. Especially if you go fast at the wall (after a jumppad f.e.) it sometimes just not work.

Could you please post a screenshot of the exact place?

I just tried in the editor, it is not the wooden planks. The grapples (I used block 1-5-1) are working fine used on them.

But if you are on the metal plate blocks (3-3-x, 3-4-x), those make you run faster if you use the stamina. There jumping is not allowed.
And you need to jump in order to be able to use the grapple.
Or do you want the grapple to work everywhere?

You're still talking of the grapple here?
The faster you are moving, the more difficult it is to point precisely at the grapple.
This is a pure physical effect, already described by Werner Heisenberg a while ago ;)
The only thing that would help would be a autograpple, which would lift and slingshot you a bit away, depending on the speed you already have before passig it.

You are totally right! Something isnt right here!
After you fly of a wooden ramp you cant grapple like you do onto other grapplers...
What I always do now is double tap my spacebar ( because then it does work ).
Nadeo should take a look at this.

@TMARC : Play some obstacle or timetrial ( best server ever ) and you will notice what we are talking about. A screenshot is not needed. Its when you fly off a wooden ramp and grapple afterwards.

Please read again what I wrote above.
I asked to give a screenshot to see on what you land after the grapple.
I will never find the exact place you have the issue, but if you think you know it better... :roll:

Can it be when u slide off woodenslides without jumping? Maybe the "jumpbutton" is still blocked until you get new surface or something like that.
