Will there be pre-set times on the leaderboards of each track? Or can we download the times of other players onto tracks?
I don't think I'll play this game much with other people locally. It would be nice to have something achievable other than a medal. ;)

- Will there be an ingame "store" to find maps to add to the playlist? (something like mania-exchange with possibility to rate maps)
- Can a group of players edit the playlist of a server?

- More or less.

- Unlikely, for now it's the owner of the server that can edit the maps on it.

i have no doubts searching for maps will be a nightmare in the console version because they are consoles, possible the pc version too depending how much Nadeo bastardized it

When I saw the new environment trailers, I began to like TMT even more than I did before. Especially the new valley dirt blocks are awesome. I always loved Dirt (TMNF times) and I was so hyped about Valley when it came out. TMT reminds me of a smaller version of TMUF. And if the success of TMT is a smaller version of TMUF's success... then it'll be 100x more popular than Maniaplanet anyways!

However, the more I like TMT, the more I fear that Maniaplanet will look like this compared to Turbo. So, the question arises how Nadeo is going to prevent this huge difference? I know that Nadeo is going to place some advertisements. I am not entirely whether this was already asked but what kind of advertisement? And will they be 'big' enough so the presense of TMT has positive impacts on Maniaplanet like it's supposed to do?

I'll buy TMT, that's for sure. I can hear the bell ringing which is introducing a new era of Trackmania and I can't wait to be part of this new adventure! Hopefully Maniaplanet will not suffer... :)

i love the visuals too, it gives the game a identity unlike TM2 realistic art style

i'm worried if TMT will succeed at all, all advertising it had up till now is the e3 and some youtuber and ubisoft channel, then a deafening silence, just like TM2, there is no hype behind it, only old players talking about it, hopefully the console releases will be enough
at least now there is a good number of sales in in the humble store and steam to allow people know that the game exists and keep it relevant, TMU and TM2 needed that pretty badly

Same answer to both.

Trackmania Turbo is something easier to understand, more polished on three hardware platforms and with box editions. So, it's more effcient to communicate and it will get more attention until release.

Maniaplanet was much more complicated to communicate. It's complex and limited to PC. The platform is evolving and require to be more of an expert to go through. So, it should get more attention over time, when it's more advanced.

And we will surely have more attention from players on next steps of Maniaplanet if there are more Trackmania players globally. So, I expect most advanced Trackmania Turbo players to look at Maniplanet, through the videos that are done, or competitions, and thanks to the universal demo, try it and enjoy the openness of it.
