Elite et Royal "free standalone dlc" !

Of course it`s your oppinion at what time you announce innovations, but that was a really inconvenient time to announce the free Elite and Royal version.

The simple question is: would current owners be even more happier? I see some are unhappy at the announce of the news, reading comments, but I just believe they will be more happy with this situation and with their game and the game they have helped to get better. And it is the same for competition. For people that would say that they want to compete on the game but prefer to wait up to an undefined date to save 16€ and ignore the rest of the game, I would like to offer them to never try another content of the game until release and six months after, even with the crazy upcoming stuff, to show me how sincere they are. In addition, we will bring them a lot of people to compete with. So, to the simple question to know if they will be more happy: I think yes.

For the timing, I don't think it was a good idea to wait, and it took time to test and reach the state where we can announce it. So, it was a bad timing, unfortunate or unlucky, but I don't think we can have found a better one than now and even more to do it at PAX, in USA, to show how strongly we intend to go worldwide.

I can at least say "Sorry if you feel bad about it" to players who feel they have lost something.

i think thats a good idea. - i would even find it very fine if also one racemode will be free2play for a time.
if people like the full game, they will buy it
and yes, i also bought both, tm and sm on maniaplanet. its always good to make more people play that wonderfull game

i can see how many people are playing atm , and those numbers are not as big as we all wish. so keep on doing a good job @ nadeo, good decision i think.

I just said that it was in my view a bit unlucky and Hylis told us why he think he did the right decision. We said his arguments are all understandable. So everybody is fine

Congratulation on making all the people, that raised the Maniaplanet System pay for Shootmania while all the other gamers get it for free.
Next time you better tell the truth about your selling strategy: The pre-order was told to be a pre-order of the game, not an option to buy yourself a beta key only.

(And yes, I know, that "just" Royal and Elite are free, but you know, they are the most played gamemodes)

Wow ... I just want my money back! What`s wrong with Nadeo, seriously?! I pre-ordered this game to playe ELITE mode and now you say, that ELITE mode will be for free?! Just one question: Are you serious? Do you want to kid us?

And Royal mode is free, too... oh my god, I`m really regretting that I pre-ordered this game ._.

Okay, I will explain it to you. I pre-ordered this game, because of Elite mode. And now Nadeo announced, that Elite mode will be for free... so actually, I've wasted 16€. You understand, why I am upset?

I don't. If it was a $40 game maybe, but $15? Doesn't get you much anyway nowadays so people just need to let it go. Whatever helps grow the community in the long run is best for all of us.
