France is UTC+1, but we went in summer time...

But I still don't know why is UTC +1 in France when ~95% of the country is in Greenwich zone. In Spain it's more weirder.

Hoping someone recorded it.
I want to watch but, being in Manitoba, at the time it was streaming I was on the bus home from work yesterday so I didn't get a chance. I couldn't stay late at work to watch because I had to get home for dinner, and the transit in this city is so horrible it took over half an hour to get home (I could have walked there faster, it's not that far from work).
Hoping I get another chance.
