Elite feels very good. good update.

For elite exp:
Ability to destroy rockets with laser
Laser jump (on tech material like powerpath)
Wall jumps (on castle walls)

I liked these 3 things. But the Wall jump is not precise or? Sometimes i gotta wall jump 5x to be able to actually make the jump.(or i have to be VERY close)
And for the gameplay. Movement feels horrible, "it feels like driving a car"

I would still like to see rocketjumping into the game! :)

We have found the issue and it fixed

wall jumps: you need to move in the direction of the wall and have the wall on your side (no front or back jump)

for intertia, I know there is a debate to have on this, in a week. Let people play with it a little and we will see how it feels after being more used to it. I have no oppinion at the moment if we should keep it or not, I will look at this in around a week.

This is freaking awesome. LOVE the new elite, except that inertia thingy.

HI, I played a few rounds of Elite Exp and here are my feedbacks:

- Walljumping is awesome! It took me very few tries to become used to it. It works fine and I can get to all sorts of places now that I couldn't before. You can even jump from wall to wall and back if you do it right.

- 3 rockets is fine. As defender I don't feel disadvantaged because of the 2 next points:
- Smaller hitboxes. It's noticeable, but not harder to aim from close range. I guess we won't be seeing many 100+m shots anymore :P
- Air movement. It feels smoother and faster, but you can't turn mid air as much as you could before. This is GREAT because getting air-rocket hits now is much easier.

So balance seems to be really good.


On a bad note, I'm still getting join-lags when someone joins the server.

we made various logs in this version as well to help us optimize / debug later

elite exp feels like driving a car and i have a hard time adapting to the movement :/
