Anyway about this.....
I was back on TM2 for a little bit but after playing with the files I honestly have no interest in modding TM2 because of things like no support for transparency and no support for cloudfx shadows which means no starmap projection disco crazyness. I don't believe in taking steps backwards so I might be done with modding.

Please don't give up on modding TM2 bro! The features and options you mentioned may not be available now, but that doesn't mean they won't be in the future. Please at lease wait and see what happens when the final retail release comes out. Hopefully Hylis and the other Nadeo devs read this and add the transparency and cloudfx shadows effects you're after.

To any other mods here, have you guys heard anything about whether transparency and cloudfx shadows will be available for modding purposes in the future? If so please reply back and let us know. We need Deep Space Disco for Stadium 2 and hopefully Valley and Canyon! Please don't give up just yet FenixBlue! :cry:

Please speak for yourself. I could do perfectly without it.

Back to topic. As far as I know it's due to the new GFX engine, transparency and cloud projection will not be available anymore.

Hi Fenix. You still around man? I'm playing TMUF right now using DeepSpaceDisco.

Can you by any chance tell me what the best graphics settings are to really take advantage of DSD's star light effects? For some reason the game looks a bit too dark. I have all settings turned up.

What was it filename before ? StadiumDirt1 = StadiumDirt_D ?

What for settings to set in PS to fix old .dds files ? Can i leave D files like they are and just fix N and S ?
I found no informations about it.

Is this all i need ? juste resave it with this settings ?
No HawkGer mate, save as 3Dc XY 8 bpp | Normal Map. If you do this then open it back up in photoshop you will see the change without adding saturation.

And why is there in TM2 no integrated compilation for old mods :D ?

Can someone please give us people the correct informations in a pictured tutorial with a good overview and not here in this jungle ?

But the emitted light outside is still green. How can I change this also?

In Dirt maps these buildings are often very close to dirt hills and green light on a Moon mod looks not very realistic...

Just a theory:
May this can only controlled by importing the building with new params for the light source, described here > http://doc.maniaplanet.com/creation/imp ... _mesh.html / point 2.3

My theory is that this building is a static mesh and the light source color is made by this option as it was imported by nadeo. So in all you can´t change the color if you don´t import this building with new params.

But maybe there´s another way?
