Fred, Canyon is updated when the system is updated. The code of the system is shared, so when the system update, it updates it for every games. If there are updates that are more for a game, like datas, they are updated only when clicking on the station. There is not many functions that are updated in the system, but they are also less listed. I am not sure there (I was off this update) but maybe there are updates on the SLI support, the buddies tool interface, the object importer that are more transversal in this update from the topic I have seen being discussed.

So, it is very common to see things made for all games, from the system, even one that is nearly two years old. I find that it is rather positive, even if I regret a lot the fact that it is an .exe and that you have to relaunch it after applying the update.

Maybe the update will be more rare after some time, but with Stadium and Valley on the way, I think we may have some more in times to come.

If you want a relief, just imagine how much work it is for us each time to make an update, and you will know that we are making them as rare as possible!

Nice update :thumbsup:

Custom menu on some title packs are invisible.

OpenLink command seems to not work into included cutom menu :

Code: Select all

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
<manialink id="home" background=0 version=1>
<timeout>0</timeout>
<type>default</type>
<frame id="generalFrame" posn="0 0 0">
</frame>
<script><!--
main () {
	yield;
	OpenLink("http://xxx.stunters.org/" ^ LoadedTitle.BaseTitleId ^ "/" ^ LocalUser.Login ^ "/home", ::LinkType::Goto);
}
--></script>
</manialink>
Thx ;)

Is it just me or anyone else out there feels like we've just been f*cked?

... After all the good words that have been spent in the last days, all i see is a lot of new stuff and few fixes.

So much for the "we listen to the community": the community was clearly stating "we don't want new stuff, we want fixes FIRST", and this is what we got... arrowpad... friggin arrowpad... :cry:

TheXPlaying

Arrowpad is something cool for map mapping, since it will enable to have the weapon into battle, siege, royal, elite, melee, realms, joust and others, including custom titles of players without the item etc. But even without saying this, Arrowpad is a block, it is not 'code' So when we work on things, it depends on who is doing what. So it is a graphic artist that made the block and not a programmer.

I understand that you have your priorities, but please avoid to express your oppinion as being the "community" and us, the "devs" Thanks. Anyway, the way you express yourselve is not on par with the energy that dev put into making the game, so unless you apologize for your harsh langage, it is useless to come back. thanks.
