It happened to me when i erased some mixed blocs in the editor then save.
I had to open mapedit and erase last few blocs until that works.

What did you move? Incorrect flags could cause game crashes (mainly terrain). Is it in the maps size? Most blocks can not be placed out of bounds.

I told you i moved blocks that's moving worked before. It is not even working when i put 1x1 block in air. Then i move it up or down. Apply and save--> Then game crashes while opening.

Well, it just works for me :P .
Do you use the latest version? Do earlier MapEdit versions still work?

You put a new block using MapEdit.
Then you save.
Then you open the regular map editor and try to move the above block.
Then you save and exit the editor - this still works?

Which block is it exactly?
And also please provide your map before and after your change, so TGYoshi can see what the issue really is.

The ingame copy/paste tool is the problem.

Open a new track, place a block, copy and move it, save the track, load it into MapEdit and you will see a message like this: "Unknown chunk id 0x40000005 at position 40880". Then, when you save the track in MapEdit (even without changes) it will crash TM2 when you load it.

Seems to happens since the recent update(s) of MapEdit.

Sounds more like a gbx format change, though. If you have a map showing this error, re-save in maniaplanet, if it still shows it, upload the map and I'll check what has changed in the format.

Here's a test track -=For testing purpose only!=-

-I placed 3 blocks, saved the track in mp and loaded in mapedit without errors.
-Then I've moved the blocks with the copy/paste tool, saved the track in mp, loaded in mapedit and got the message: unknown chunk id 0x3 at position 587.

I used the latest version of MapEdit. I hope you find something, I'm no programmer so I don't know what else to look for.

Btw, in my first test I placed only 1 block but that seems to give the unknown id error even without using the copy/paste tool. It's needs a minimum of 2 blocks. But noone builds tracks with only one block anyway. ;)
