Funny how a lot of people are complaining about the handling, rememember the first days of the Canyon Beta? A lot of people were confused with the drifting now I see most of them used to it and mastering it, it's just a matter of time and then we will get used with the Valley handling

i've watched a good chunk of that frostbeule/spam race ( the gold rush :D ) but i've played the game really little. Apparently those jumps/ramps are really tricky at many levels. everybody on frostbeule's Stream was wondering how to take them. like i said i've haven't really played yet but i have a suggestion. apparently if you initiate your turn on the ramp earlier you will fall well Inside the reception ramp, whereas if you use all the height of the ramp for the turn at the take off you might clip the edge of the reception block (with a wheel, the front of your car...) even though it seems you're about to land nicely into it. just make the turn/that twisting movement early like the ramp is shorter. you know at that point in the ramp where your car is the most "compressed " agaisnt the road (or just right after at worst)

note : i'm definitly talking about how to land on the block, not how to reach the block which is just a matter of speed.

tell me if it helps because like i said i haven't played much.
btw who won (frostbeule or spam)? haven't watched till the end, so long

I'm simply loving it.
Getting used to the dirt at the moment and oversteering isn't a big issue for me anymore. Very fun to drive.

Just some editor crashes though, but I suspect those will be resolved soon enough.

Takes a while to get comfortable with but once you get use to the handling it's a nice env.
The car feels a bit light to me. I'd prefer a heavier feel and drift that doesn't slow you down as much but all in all  . Nice work Nadeo.

The brake/wallbang issue is a real problem imo, but otherwise the game is very, very well made. At the moment it's in the middle of my enviro-o-meter.

I loved the gameplay of Canyon, cos I'm a drift fan.
I'm afraid Valley is an anti drift game.
Graphic is nice and I like the offroad blocks.
Analog steering is mutch to sensitive, I hope Nadeo will patch it.

IMO I think driving on the dirt is just too unstable . The car feels very light and too big for the surrounds .

The rest of the game is great . Editor is amazing . Graphics are great . But spoiled by the handling on dirt especially .

Hope they look at turning down the sensitivity slightly when on dirt in next patch .

Cheers

As longer you drive this game as longer you get into it, i like the physics and handling so far but i´ve doesn´t test all things (wallride etc.)
