Maniaplanet is much more, so much. I won't say it is perfect but I=it is good.jjaaperoloco2 wrote:yes yes i forget to say the title packs are a pretty good idea but i was thinking at level of a player, there are new blocks and better graphics (that in much cases it laggs the game)
Yes, i know that there are a lot of bug fixes and inproves of the editors in general but... if you join a server and play you are doing the same as TMUF... Or not?
You should read what was written before. I had already written something similar so I won't repeat my self a lot.
New tools like eXpansion, ManiaControl are just emerging to replace the existing systems. These tools uses ManiaScript in game much more the the old systems used to do.
They offer new possibilities; eXpansion for example has a true scoll bar when looking to map list and stuff. We have new widgets using ManiaScript to prevent the server from lagging. We used our system with 80 players and everything is still reactive because so much is done on the client side.
This is just an example of what ManiaPlanet is offering. These tools are used in ammon so it needs time for players on servers to see them to appreciate them.
Nadeo has built something incredible and it takes time for such a system to wok fine
