Wrong. If you had read the Ubi blog post (or the first post of this thread) correctly, you'd know the real reasons for the delay. Let me quote:
Every game what is optimized from console is bad.
Consoles have minimal specs for playing games.
If PS4 doesn't support DX11+ game will have pretty bad quality cos game will be not good when they move something from other engine to new one

I can understand that this is your strategy. A closed beta like you used to do would at least satisfy the core of your community, which is still HERE.
Having some delays isn't that big of a deal, better something good than something unfinished - first impressions count. The issue is just that in the meanwhile we've gotten nothing... ;)

Anyway, I keep doing what I'm doing, you keep developing and hopefully some time soon(TM) ManiaPlanet will be more active, more lively and more interesting. Keep up the work!

... I'm angry.

As a ShootMania Player, I just can Say That : " whoa..... Another delay...And SM in all This story ? Oh ok let's wait 2017 --' "
Let's be honest : Can You at least give us some news about what are You doing ?

Holy shit, your community is actually dying !
I play your games since TM eswc and it was better before !
So yeah, if You delay TMT, what about SM (and all others TM Maniaplanet games) ?
We need a clear and an attractive answer cuz actually, I'm planning to change game (UT4 or OverWatch)

Are you actually trying to kid us that Nadeo's year of TrackMania was succesful because of what the community created ... :?

Sorry, I know there is much awesome stuff out there and nice people working hard, but I´m just frustrated.
When this year of TM was announced, I thought of something else and I was wrong, that`s all.
I have realy no interest in TM Turbo and I don`t think this will enhance the playerbase in Maniaplanet, at least not much. So to me it just feels like another wasted year, which of course it isn`t, but it feels so.

It's through their comments and various playtests that we have received valuable feedback for Trackmania Turbo. We take that feedback very seriously and we're committed to ensuring that our fans – both old and new – will always have the best experience possible. With that in mind, we have decided to move the release date of Trackmania Turbo to Early 2016.
So why don't you give a single fuck about this game dying? The community is doing its best to keep the interest, you don't see that, do you? TM Turbo will not solve this problem!

Read this: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=31816

I haven't seen any of Nadeo guys replying to numerous posts regarding future of TM series.

Why don't you (Nadeo) push Ubisoft to promote the game? I repeat: PROMOTE THE GAME

How do you want (or actually you don't want apparently) to help this community grow bigger, if nobody knows this game?

K?

Pretending to care about the community is much easier than actually caring.

TM is dead anyway, one day Nadeo will realise it too.

Releasing some reskinned party version of the game with not even dedicated servers, haha, what are we in 1995? Same shit they did in Maniaplanet where it took them 3 years to make servers that can run several enviroments at once.

Nadeo has lost it when they sold out to Ubisoft and started with all those overambitious plans instead of properly releasing one game after the other.

But it's definitly not a smart idea to split up a decreasing community even more. Or are you just conserned about your sales?

I know NADEO is a small team and prioritization is then very very important.
A lot of people in this community has the feeling the prioritzation is now completely on the development of TMT and we, as a community are lower on the list of priorities.
Some even think we are not on this list, but i know that is not true from my own experiences as a host of some cups.
Without even asking NADEO is promoting cups at various kinds of social media!

What can NADEO do to give us at least the feeling we are on the list of priorities:

1) INFO INFO INFO: Info makes people excited, enthusiastic, envolved and envolvement is very very important.
When people feel they are not longer envolved, the enthusiasm dissapears.
So keep us informed, even when there is nothing to tell.
For example, blog us weekly without exception on anything in development, exciting things etc etc.
Let us know you are still there.

2) With Canyon and Shootmania we as a community helped testing things out before the release. With a team of 300 testers you can speed up things a lot more then with a team of 5 or 10. You know who are experienced, you know who can make good arguemented bugreports without swearing or just saying this is sjit.
I am sure if you run a test with 300 communitymembers for lets say a week, you receive so much good info which can be only good for the development.

I still have faith in all that you are doing, because me and a lot of others are still playing on Maniaplanet each day and still have fun. Its now already more then 4 years since Maniaplanet has started and it keeps on making me excited each day of those 4 years and thats imo something huge.

But sometimes you have to make 1 tiny step backwards and have a look at how things are developing, to make 2 or even 3 huge steps forward!

Greetz,
