[CRASHES] TM2 - Trackmania 2 won't start [win7]

The logs are so freaking long, can't really compare them especially without knowing what to look for. All I can say is that the game stil doesn't start after all the updates and unplugging of keyboard.

Can you see if the log continue after the line 192

[Sys] UpdateFolderFilesFromRef 'C:\ProgramData\ManiaPlanet\PacksCache', found 0 files.

without this error

All 4 last starting attempts in which i was experimenting with the keyboard and mouse have the error

Hmm, sorry but now, I don't know for the moment. Maybe wait the next update of the game or try with a format of your PC.

KIND OF SOLVED

I found a temporary solution in the german are of the forum: http://forum.maniaplanet.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=4349

You have to create internet shortcut, click right mouse button on the desktop then select "create shortcut" as a name write

maniaplanet:///

Once you saved it you can start the game with this shortcut! It only works if you selected that shortcuts can start the game, it is asked in the installations process.

I would agree because I am on a new install of Windows 7 64bit and TrackMania is the only thing not working, so it is something that Trackmania is doing during the install that is not getting done correctly.

Yeh, used the "maniaplanet:///" and now its working, I knew it was something simple.

The only other issue I have is it always starts in a window and not full screen, no big deal.

I am running 3 screens in eyefinity mode an it looks great

Knew that just a pain to have to do it every time, even though its set in the config for full screen
