There is no need to propagate false information.
We don't work on it actively at the moment, but we are using some pieces, like the dedicated-server-api package in turbo.
...interesting.
Well eXpansion which is actively maintained and is second or third most used controller in MP for TM (according to dedimania) is based on manialive, so no it isn't dead, it is a great project that works great.

That reminds me we need to cleanup a few stuff and do a merge request.
I'm more talking about the fact that they're using a PHP-based GbxRemote for TMT.. :) Likely for internal use, but interesting nevertheless!

I've seen some beta footage, I love the announcer at the end saying which medal you got, reminds me a LOT of the old NFS games like NFS 3: Hot Pursuit and NFS High Stakes which had an announcer to tell which place you've got in the race, even the voice is very similar :D

By the way does anybody knows if the trigger buttons on the controller works properly now? Like when you press it a little the car speeds up a little instead of stepping the gas completely? Maniaplanet have that problem.

I'd say analog acceleration in TM is useless, as in almost all maps you should have gas pressed all the time. Analog accel gives also big advantage for pad users, as vehicles would get new kinds of moves, that couldn't be performed on keyboard.

Also one more thing that I think it's just bad, the entire soundtrack are just licensed musics from Monstercat and other generic electric repetitive musics, nothing is memorable and exciting to race, I was kinda wishing Turbo could have a soundtrack style similar to Trackmania Original, that would be fun and nostalgic, musics were always something nice about trackmania (except Canyon) but that's just me nitpicking of course.

This single word makes me feel more likely to buy Turbo than anything else
