you think I don't know about it? still, for ex. online, you can't just press 7 and look at the map. you need to press it twice and then move for like 10 secs to get a nice overview. and if you go to cam1 and then again to cam7, view is resetted

I agree, I reported that in the early beta, and still think the current way is rather inconvenient.Omnixor wrote:for ex. online, you can't just press 7 and look at the map. you need to press it twice and then move for like 10 secs to get a nice overview. and if you go to cam1 and then again to cam7, view is resetted

Re: Question to all TM2 players--what's wrong with Canyon?
I think the new cam 7 is better than the old. With the old I always had to search where I am currently to get some kind of orientation. I like it much more to start from where I amXymph wrote:I agree, I reported that in the early beta, and still think the current way is rather inconvenient.Omnixor wrote:for ex. online, you can't just press 7 and look at the map. you need to press it twice and then move for like 10 secs to get a nice overview. and if you go to cam1 and then again to cam7, view is resetted

why not to add another cam, which reacts same as old cam7?

@Cam1 too low: We all have to live with thatmetoxys wrote:bel1be wrote:Let my see what i do not like
@Cam1 too low: We all have to live with that
@Wheels have to turn 3 or 5° more: Live with that or drift.
@Not support for controllers: There is support
@Too many fullspeed drift maps: We map builders build our maps according to the car and according to the blocks. If the car is very fast and drifts very nice we build fullspeed drift maps. Don't expect Snow tracks to be like Stadium tracks and don't expect Coast tracks to be like Island tracks.
@Only rounds and time attack: We are in the B E T A. The game is not even out yet. Please have patience
@Too many players on 1 server: Press O.
@Where is the fun? If you have no fun without driving against opponents it probably is because of the track.
@Autokick for too high Ping: Why? in TM there are no collisions and what others do does not influence you. Ping is the last thing that matters in TM online play
> I'm not alone with this comment it can by adapted by next update
@Wheels have to turn 3 or 5° more: Live with that or drift.
> For the moment and depending on the map you drive you are faster without drift , give my 3 degrees more and i do not need no drift for taking a corner faster than in the drift....

> Not for Weels and joystick you need to setup 3de party applications to get it a little bit at the way you want
I also play Test Drive united 2 game , Setup for controllers in that game is a little bit more , than the setup of TM2

This is a discussion without no end , collision ash nothing to do with it
You seems to forget That TM2 also use P2P system , Avatars from people like a full movie , Painted cars with complex colors and shadows (Carpark cars)..........and many more
When i see the rules in some competition on TM1 , i see no avatars >>only original country flag , no other cars than the original Country Car ........Why you think this rules are made ???

Tm 2 is nice , but for a race game it ash to offer a little bit more For a new Game in the Year 2011 ......and i hope this time the listing to what people write in the Forums , and not to gather your information from Beta testers and Big clan members
Whe wait when the game is full open to see of any of the comments made in this forum will by changed

Vague handling on walls and loops. Wallrides are unsustainable and imprecise, you just slide off like a lame duck after a short time. Loop control is impossible. This pretty much eliminates wall/loop fullspeeders from the game despite the many blocks that are ostensibly intended to support this style.
Too many narrow roads that don't offer any challenge at low speed without drifting, but are either extremely lucky or nearly impossible to drive at higher speeds. If you DON'T want a track from hell, you simply can't use them.
I don't mean the bumpy roads at ground level and the cliffside roads. These are okay, as Hylis explained, because at least you have SOME room to drift and they are meant to be driven like an IRL rally course: as fast as you can without crashing.
The pointless ones are the narrow roads with walls along the side, the "Tokyo Drift" blocks. They do not encourage slowing down. They can be driven at high speed if you drift properly, but drifting properly is SO hard on those blocks and there is SO little margin for error that the end result is a massive difficulty spike. Not everyone wants a massive difficulty spike every time they use tunnel blocks.
Lack of viable GP blocks. There are virtually no GP corners, making it impossible to create a varied track out of GP blocks.
Irritating HDR that makes the screen completely white or black for no other reason than the existence of a bridge over the road. Graphics should never get in the way of gameplay.

Re: Question to all TM2 players--what's wrong with Canyon?
The only thing i noticed, and i don't like that much is:
the game is not that much arcade.. there are a lot of variables that influence your time, the bug-start, drifts, car tilting, road-dirty borders, and much more.
--
no more arcade as the previous environements.
++
graphics
cars
ambiance
blocks
drift
all the various editing tools (screen-shoting, video-shoting and replay editor in general).
