totally agree

Another sentence well put. Agreed here.
I agree too

Only people who seriously want to take part in improving the game should get a beta key. The rest should wait for the game to come out and not beg for being a beta tester.
It still doesn't mean you can't take anyone else than the experienced and important persons. There are more people who would really encourage for their job. And I think
those should get a bigger chance of getting a beta key. Not those who are lazy and just want to play the beta because they can't wait anymore. There's just one problem - it's hard to find the people who are good for being a beta tester... but I'm sure there's a solution for it, like taking the beta rights of people who don't do anything away and giving them to other people instead - like Nadeo did it in the previous beta tests already, as far as I know

Yeah, remember the "write the name of the pre-poster and get a free beta key" game

Well, i prefer to get the full game than wait to
play the beta

... And in about 7 days we will finally have the trailer!

I hope it will be like the Sunrise one (
here) where not only the environment but also the menus are visible.

Well, about the beta thing, i find it actually really unfair.
Just a close range of "users" will have the chanse to get it, and the rest of the users just can look the beta testers while having fun.
I hope that anybody will get the beta, and that we all get the game together without unfairy relases (even if betas).

Exactly what I said. Everyone should have a chance to get a beta key, including people who are new to TM and haven't done anything for the community yet. But:

Do you think it'd be useful to have beta testers which don't do anything? That would be nonsense... and Nadeo (and the players too) shouldn't do nonsense during the beta.
The problem is: How can Nadeo find out if players are actually working on making the game a better one, or if they're just playing? I mean, you can't place a webcam in front of every computer where the beta is installed on. Or check for the playing time or reported bugs. Those aren't good ways for looking for lazy players (the first would be spying at other people's computers and that's illegal, the second and third also don't work because you might not be at home for a while during the beta test, or there are just no bugs in TM²). If Nadeo does the beta test like I'm suggesting it, then they (or we) will have to find a way to do that.

well, i think that nadeo has enough money to pay serious people (adults) to do the betatest phase.
He won^'t give such a big game project to the first and unknown childs (or also adults) he find on a forum! That's sure and i hope so.
I know that nadeo when relased the beta of tmu gived it to some users, but here, we are talking about a game that's going to "revolutionise" the whole online gaming (probably). So why should nadeo give a beta version to unknown people?
Childs, adults or what?
Imo, there shouldn't be a beta, and we all should just get the finished and final version.

The Problem is easy to solve for Nadeo:
They just take players, from whom they know, that they want to improve the game. So mostly players they know from previous betas or the ones who are active and committed in the community. But that means that there are less new players. Maybe Nadeo adds some new players as well, but then it's more difficult with the secrecy

nää, as i already said, imo, they will chose people that they can control.
Let's say, for example:
You're an hacker, you get the beta version, you find the way to crack it, and you distribute it (even if it's a beta version) to the comunity 2 months before the official relase... IMO they will give the beta only to the proper people, maybe french players (or randomly chosed people) that are experts.
TM2 is just partially related to TM1, so imo they won't chose only people from TM1, but also random people (gaming experts of course).

I know, that's the way Nadeo already chose in the previous betas. It's the easiest and the best one. There's just that ONE problem which I'm talking about all the time:
haenry wrote:But that means that there are less new players.
How would you integrate those into the beta so they don't feel left out? In my opinion, everyone should get a chance to be a good beta tester, so that Nadeo sees they can also trust other people than only the experienced and important ones and take them in the next beta(s) as well.
I know it's hard to find those, but Nadeo could just take some random people and remove their rights to be a beta tester if they're not good enough. But then we have the problem with checking if they're active or not again.
If Nadeo (or the community) finds a way to solve that problem, then mixing old and new users will have no disadvantages anymore, and so they can do it, and everyone is happy because nobody was discriminated against.
Oh, and don't forget: Even former beta testers or people who did something for the community aren't always trustable.

Doesn't have to be true. Nadeo can even choose beta testers from TMO to be a beta tester in SM or something if they know they definitely won't do anything bad.
And you also don't have to be a gaming expert to test all features of TM² and find bugs - even someone who never played any video game before could do that job if he learns fast and likes to try every single thing which is possible out - like I do

How can an "unexpert" player know if something is a bug?
I mean: if you're playing, something happen, but you don't know that's a bug, so you think that's normal.
You got what i mean?
