Hello, if only tm2 would work, yet it is so highly extensive on graphics, it does not play, so United I stay.
Although in question of the new custom blocks, like other games for mods adding sounds/textures/models/ wouldnt it make sense that trackmania unlimiter or nadeo to just simply add support adding pack files and have an block menu in unlimiter to show any custom pieces added?
Way much easier than XML or making new pakfiles.dat etc. Everytime the exex would load, it would generate a new filelist and add it new compilation to the menu...

The TM2Unliniter don't have to have the newest version.

The last post in that topic claims that TM2Unlimiter stores ManiaPlanet's version number in its .ini file, and that it's possible to use an old version of TM2Unlimiter with a new version of ManiaPlanet by re-extracting the .ini file from the TM2Unlimiter download.
This is not true. Every version of TM2Unlimiter works with one, and only one, version of ManiaPlanet. With every ManiaPlanet update, all kinds of internal details change and I have to manually update TM2Unlimiter to match them. But don't be mistaken, this is not because Nadeo is actively trying to break TM2Unlimiter; it's just a consequence of updating the game.

Working on it, still some problems left with importing. When I get my textures to work properly my creative 3d modeling mind can be unleashed!!!

Finally I got the official object importer to work. Had my folder named Textures instead of Texture. Couldn't find the problem, aaaaaargggg.
But its working now, here is a picture of a simple test model. Now I will start working on some higher quality models.
