I keep getting halfway through the 28.7MB update file before it quits and makes me retry. I've done it 5 times now.

I've logged into player.maniaplanet.com and begun the updating process from there only to be stuck sitting like an idiot. There's nothing on the forums with my specific problem. Please help.

I just tried turning off optional updates on my player page, so the download dropped to 280-something MB, but it still gets stuck/loses connection with the server. I don't know what's wrong, but I was about to build a track with a friend while we're on holiday break and now I can't even use the map editor. The beta worked. This doesn't.

I had the same problem with iongame updating so I know how frustrating it is

I've done that too. None of the various dismembered downloads and installers works. They all lose connection with the server. Before you ask, it's not my connection. Sorry if I sound mad, but I kind of am. This has taken way too long to be getting nowhere, when I had a working game two months ago. I think I'm going crazy from checking on these download bars so often.
