I agree that if a spammer is treated the same way for spamming weblinks, that this could be related, but i guess many people use their nicknames to promote their clan and such? (although also, most peoples clans are not their business', so as always with him, it's on the "thin grey line" (seem's to have a knack for controversy eh))

I just hope this code can do some magical things, and one thing i would like, is the ability to when entering a cup server (or similar mode) have it so that users can subscribe to a race, maybe a coded subsciption before entering race mode (regardless of method of entry) would be possible?

I just have the idea for a "public" race server, and would like users to enter with their chosen mode, but be forced to spec/silence instantly, and then they can click subscribe to enter, should their name be on the whitelist.

Of course this may be possible allready? and will this be simple to achieve? (not 100% sure of the methods involved, but would like public race servers, but withougt the nuisence of people entering in the wrong mode, passwords, or chatting from spectators).

It could also be a really silly idea, but i think it would make race servers a very "pop in" affair without the inconvenience of having a private server) ...Another way would be a when called upon to enter, send to relay maybe?

It would be cool to have different tracks on one map. Just something comparable with the rushmode of BF BC2. You have to reach a goal (find the finish, or find the finish below a time of x seconds).

After that your range of action will get extended. So you can switch to the next part of the track where you have achieve the next goal. After three or four rounds you are the winner.

This would also be an awsome teammode. Example:

To get to the next track 3 people out of your team have to finish a part in order to proceed to the next part (By let's say 8 guys in one team).

Like relay mode? That could be schweet.

Yeah that does sound pretty cool, relay mode but with no challenger restart. The only issue is that in relay mode once the next player has their turn; the new players start the round from the start with a 3, 2, 1 go! ...If this is mod circuit, how do you propose the players are lined up, and how do they all start together?

I guess this may be able to be forced, ie a 3,2,1,go from that point, but this may leave bad loopholes for server owners to take advantage of?

i would create impossible things.

after i know what it is capable of, i will find something funny and entertaining to do with it that others can also enjoy, dunno what it is yet, maybe a custom game mode, maybe even minigame inside trackmania, or maybe something that nobody never expected that it could be done... time will tell
