I think I can answer this one:

No offense, but I'd rather have that answered by Hylis or someone else from Nadeo, or not at all.

main difference:

closed beta( beta 1)= closed=trusted people and just a small group will get inside, they are reporting bugs and so on to improve the game ( maybe 20-50?)

open beta( beta 2)= last test for the release ( maybe some new bugs will be found), 98% sure that there will be more people (maybe 100-200)

Yes, based on my experience in the TMF alpha/beta, I could speculate the same. But that's not a official answer, and these forums would benefit from less speculation, not the abundance we've seen over the past few months.

And I was more interested in the technical content of the beta phases, e.g. in which phase the dedicated server and ManiaScript will be.

I'm pretty sure that beta 2 ( open beta) will not be the same as Battlefield 3, where all people with MOH Le can have acces ( about 500 000 xD)

Yeah, if beta 2 were truly open, i.e. unlimited access to anyone, it wouldn't make sense for Hylis to give away keys for it via 'stupid games' now. The TMF beta wasn't fully open, and for now there's no reason to believe TM2C beta 2 will be different until officially confirmed otherwise. So I'd call it a bigger but still closed beta.

Can anybody explain me why the posting chance is so failful? It could never quit editing...
