We need the replays from the server side, and not the client side.

We are still working on it, we are still in beta and we have still other things to do on this, but it is a important topic for us. We just talk less about it for some obvious reasons.
we are still in beta... sorry this excuse is getting boring ... its like THATS the reason why you keep the game in beta to say "we are still in beta"

and about that there are also other things to do... sorry but cheaters destroy your game... your crappy netcode and other crappy features should wait... cheaters destroy games and yours potentionally can die too if you keep on supporting the editor that much ...

YES AGAIN YOUR GETTING HARSH FEEDBACK but thats how feedback is supposed to be ... (learned that in my lectures yes yes..)

These fucking cheaters are competing in ELITE now and nobody can do anything. I'm so angry! DO SOMETHING!

Really? You can't votekick/voteban them straight away? It's easy getting rid of them straight away and the people using those cheats are easily spotted (If aim is x% better than overall movement and tactical choices then Voteban/Votekick, Else assume legit. End if)

Luckily it is still beta, so you really have no right and no reason to be so harsh and so barefaced

It would be a bit different if the game was considered released and still had lots of issues.
You simply have to accept that Nadeo is constantly working on the game.
As long as there are major issues, they will fix them.
The rest is luxury problem

You still can tell what is not working good, but please keep cool and be polite :!:
Or they won't care much of your posts.

Nice avatar btw. ;)

On the rare occasions that I go public Elite, I just run randomly flick'n shoting, so this isn't the criteria you should look for.

And I agree with verdi, we all know the actual planned date won't be the good one (3rd time already).

The game should have been launched already, it's not like they should be in a developpement state, they are delaying the official date using the "beta" as an excuse for this.

A game is launched when the developpers and the editor think that the game is ready and can be officially enter in a release state.
At Nadeo they don't think that the game is ready to be in final version so it's not, it's simple as that. They need more time to test and/or improve/add more things to the game and i think they have the right to do it

"insanely easy"... you tried and succeeded ? or you have no dev skill at all and just suppose that ?...
I don't think that a clientside-only maniascript can be used like you say, nor that it would be enough accurate to "aim your mouse". And anyway, i guess that in many other games the mods are on the client, and often have access to lot of infos too.

Keep in mind that it's simply a speculation.
I can get the players positions simply using maniascript and send them to some external listener which [should] then handle the aiming and whatever. Yet I have no experience how to aim the player correctly afterwards, but I suppose that is possible...

"We will launch the game in 2012"
"We will launch the game 23 january"
"We will launch the game <I don't even care since it will be delayed again>"

Players are getting sick of this, don't give a date or give a true one. Friends on this :
"So your game got released ?
-no
-why ?
-because it's too bad"

As you can imagine it's not really good. (and it happened to me twice)
Keep in mind that it's simply a speculation.

1) You need a server+script+server-side cheat+client-side cheat, wich is way too much effort
2) You get the positions of the players on the MAP, wich is useless since you need the positions of the players on the SCREEN, to calculate their position relative to the cursor.

Do generic aimbots work that way?
You can calculate the pitch/yaw you need to aim to position xyz from position xyz - at least, that's what I think  .
