indeed. also add old cam7 somewhere...745 wrote:The best to do was to keep the new good cam2, fix the bug on switching from other camera and add the old one as a cam4 = Everybody happy.
Why removing new cam 2 instead of SIMPLY KEEPING BOTH?

I wonder if there's anybody who can answer the simple question of the thread title...

Re: Why removing new cam 2 instead of SIMPLY KEEPING BOTH?
Uhm so did we get a silent update last week? Frostbeule is talking about it too. Is the old cam2 back? Im no cam2 driver so I can't see the difference (im here as a builder who needs his tracks cam2 proof).745 wrote:...the new cam2 was removed, the bug was kept and no sign of a cam4...
If so then I'm wondering what hylis meant when he replied to my quesion last month:
My question was specifically about the cam2 loop bug but now I wonder if hylis was refering to that aswell or just to the cam itself.Hylis wrote:cam2 shall be changed in next updateGanjaRider wrote:I'm waiting for the following things to be fixed:

So I'll have to ask again: Nadeo, will the cam2 loop bug be fixed?
Re: Why removing new cam 2 instead of SIMPLY KEEPING BOTH?
I haven't tested it, but xbx posted about the April 12, 2013 hotfix:
I'm not sure if this was a mandatory update, or one of those optional updates you have to enable in your player page. But it seems they already tried to fix the camera changes? Maybe try converting the map again and see if it works now?xbx wrote:Hotfix release:
We just made a small update to fix a couple of issues:
- Fixed a few performance bugs (when there were many players on the map)
- fixed stadium camera 2
- fixed in-game mediatracker camera changes
- fixed running the game in steam offline mode.
- updated translations
- and a few other smaller glitches...

Re: Why removing new cam 2 instead of SIMPLY KEEPING BOTH?
Thanks for that info eyebo. So nadeo has the intention to fix it. But the bug is still there just like in my video. I also cant find an update on my player page. Maybe reinstalling the game works but I'd like some confirmation if its actually fixed. Does anyone have the loop exits fixed?

Ok let's wait for the next update then.

This is what I was referring to:GanjaRider wrote:I also cant find an update on my player page.

But if you got TMNF cam2, then you probably already have the update.
In which case, hopefully they can fix the twitch bug in the next update.
