ET earn nothing. In fact it costs to ET admins both money and time (they pay to rent the web server). And I make the FET (and other cups) servers for free, on a personal server.
Same, I pay for Dedimania server, and last 4 years donations pay less than 20% of the rent server(s) for it.
All common server scripts and managers are free.

Well said! (only just saw the "ET earns loads" comment. What a load of unfounded baloney! (a bit like the "90% of admins" quote he uses so often)).

My ET donation is £50 per year, toward a very expensive server that insomnia kindly keeps ticking over for all us TM League lovers! We donate our time, and effort for the good of the TM community and nothing else, we have managed to do so with no advertisment support, and with no begging, nor force of payment for services.

THat's pretty much the reason i offered my help in any way possible to ET so long ago, because they are cool, awesome, and NOT greedy!

Wich also leads me to say, good point slig! i have not yet donated to dedi ever

Ontopic with the "micropayment" ....i will leave that decision up to the wise "big boys", either way i will get ans enjoy the game, the method is of their choosing to put it simply (allthough suggestions are warranted of course, i jsut choose not to).

introducing coppers to TPS is a good way to learn more about using planets
reading the comments here, I hesitate more to convert coppers to planets (with a exchange rate)
anyway, I would like to confirm that nothing is yet decided for this

I stopped playing trackmania united forever and spend 60k coppers!! in a server


so it would be a disadvantage for me because I spend all my coppers?

It's a way to ease into TM2, WiiD...
