Customers :?

I've never think i am a Nadeo customer (even if it is the truth). I don't think Maniaplanet should be think like a customer relationship. We are on the same boat, in the same adventure with Nadeo. For many years in this community, I have read constructive critizism, suggestions and in some topics it is not easy to take the right decision because both side have very good arguments. But some subjects are easier to understand. When Nadeo and people who spent hundreds of hours in title pack said it is a good system, people should believe them. It is the same when some people just arrive and said Nadeo should do television advertising

And for people in the middle there are no middle here. It is between Title system or locators system. Maybe this systems could be improve but it is a "structural question" and Nadeo need to make a choice. A system with Title and locators would be the worse solution :? Sometimes i think people didn't read Hylis technical arguments :?

And respect for the creators of the game is very important. They have much more time, knowledge and informations than us. You can have another position but you need to build good arguments and you need also to respect and understand Nadeo point of view. I don't agree in some points with Nadeo like gameplay parameters in script (nothing interesting possible with <1 value) but I respect what they decide and I know they could be right.

You're right it is very difficult to hear false negative criticism when you create something. Because you spend not only times, you put a part of yourself in your production. And false opinion are very difficult to listen for me. I experiment this with my videos. For example a very famous video makers said the sound of one of my video is poor. But the sound of this video came from a real advertising :? So even if he was famous, his opinion was bad because i think professional in advertising did a great sound  Humility is important. And friendship. Because i know how it is difficult to create something i almost never critize a video (except if the creator ask for it).

I have customers in my job but I hope here we are a community ;)

Think positive...

Post by kata78 »

Believe me .. thinking positive makes your life easier ... i'm 46 now and had some depressions in my life, where your brain doesn't give you any positive feeling ... Well there are good psychatrists and medical drugs to get over some illness like that .. and if you are through it, lifes double positive than before ....

Worst case scenario .. but thinking positive helps you in any situation of life. I don't know if you know the story of the "Fish!" Market in Seatlle .. Look for the book "Fish!" in your local book store or online store ... The story is worth reading ...

Back to TM! SUMMER SALE on STEAM! TELL YOUR FRIENDS .. only till 30th of June and in my opinion, a 3 year old game shouldn't cost more than 24 € anyway. You would sell much more copies i think ...

I know Valley is not even one year old but i calculated the middle :D (Stadium, Canyon, Valley) :roflol:

best regards

I stumbled on this talk (http://www.ted.com/talks/david_pogue_sa ... city_sells) today and found it interesting how many similarities exist to the issues we've discussed here. Give it a try

And thanks for such a nice discussion guys!
btw I totally agree on the point that being positive is much better, although pessimism is often much easier! :0010 the irony...

Yes, we are trying to make things simple, and since they are complexe, it requires a lot of time to achieve. The next update is a new step for that. But the players being capable to do their own title, mathmaking, modes, maps, servers, replays, interfaces, mods, items, actions, simply, is quite a task. And to who say it is easy, I would answer "I admire your franckness, and would like you to know that I fully respect your opinion. On this matter, however, I am afraid I will have to disagree. Thank you for your reading and for writing." ^_^

TMNF was so good and fun , I made a lot of friends and I had good moments and had enough players online. Sorry but I always wondering how you guys maintained TMNF all free without that freezone? Anyway, I bought the complete pack and I loved it! Too bad is unpopular yet.

Just to answer that question, there used to be an advertisement system within TMNF which made the funding, but then this ad company got bought by Microsoft iirc and the support of ads within TMNF was over.
