Nah, You don't understand my impression. I don't said that they should completely remove fun factor but they should place e-sport scene on the first place and promote the game as competitive title.

CS:GO has rankeds and other casuals modes like zombie escape, demolition, arms race etc. but Valve put more details and features into competitive scene than casual one.
