So the demo is totally useless and counterproductive.

For existing customers who already played Canyon as part of Trackmania 2, yes. Five
Canyon tracks and that's it.

Probably only a matter of server download replication...

Then I don't know, perhaps you need to close Uplay and start it again.
Because I have it since this evening (Uplay restarted at the first start):

I can't believe that in the demo you can only play (try) canyon maps and rooms... why? Really?
Deinstalled demo and uplay... pfff...

Of course 3.3GB download for a demo where only a little part can be tested is really weird
On the other hand, it is a demo.
And there are already enough videos in Full HD in Youtube where you can see the games in detail.

Are we supposed to make purchase decisions based on "Let's play" videos on YouTube, for a game that is all about mastering key strokes, camera angles and split-second decision making?
I noticed in the Settings of the demo that there is a key binding for "Turbo".
In those 5 tracks (and I got gold time on all of them), I never got to experience what this "Turbo" is.
Great demo, really...

What do you expect then as "experience"?
If there was the full "white" tracks campaign for all environments (4x 10 tracks), would this be sufficient?
